Sure Bernie...I'll get them up sometime today!!! I'll at least try and post a before and after of one part of the bathroom....

Oh and Bozo show was a HUGE thing in the Chicago area - people from all over the northern Illinois area would go and see it....one of my friends went and another person that was my cousin's friend was actually on the Grand Prize Game.....it really stunk after the original Bozo left.....

And I remember Romper Room and Zoom and alot of those great kid shows when I was little...but the biggest one was Bozo!

I really like your choice of colour, Chris. I've seen and heard that that shade of green is really "in". The border is a nice touch too!

Well....after I got it painted and before we put the border and the cabinet in...dd came down to look at it and said we could hold a DIS meet in there....it was VERY bright and lime green looking.....I was VERY worried!!!!! ROFL

looking for some suggestions:

I'm creating a slide show as a "thank you gift" for the cub scout den leaders who are moving on this year. Most of them have been with the program for at least 5 years....

I've narrowed down my choice of music to the following:

"Teach Your Children" by CSNY

"Through the Years" by Kenny Rogers


which would you use???

Tough choice, but I would probably do "Teach your Children".

Both choices are surely appropriate, I think the decision will come down to what kind of "feeling" you hope to evoke.

Teach Your Children is a great choice given the subject matter your projecting....no doubt!

Through the Yeras would definitely be more "heart tugging" and create more "reflection" in a presentation....when a group of people "grow" together dedicating themselves to ANY thing, they often don't recognize all the've shared...through the good and bad...that choice also suggests a contiuation of that connnection.....

You can't lose either way!

That's my 2 cents worth!

IMHO when I hear "Through the Years" I think more of a wedding anniversary. "Teach Your Children Well" is lovely.

We just had a smiliar show for our scouts last month and darn it if I can't remember the music.

Bozo was HUGE in the Detroit are too! I was on the show & got chosen to play in the treasure chest grand prize game but I lost & only got a tootsie roll bank

LOL, I have been reading all your stories about being on this kids show, and that kids show, but when I was of the age to do those things, the only kids show I got to be on was a radio show! It was Miss Mary Jane's radio show, and I got dressed up in my Easter dress to go there! I think I was about 6 at the time. Now you know, after ***********'s age test, I am OLDER THAN DIRT anyway!!
