Richard Petty's Driving Experience?

Has anyone done this?

We are thinking about doing this for my FIL when we are there in May.

My question is are there actual doors on the car or will he have to climb in the window like real race cars? He has MS and will not be able to climb in so we don't want to even mention it to him until we know further.

Also the person doing the actual driving is required to be able to drive a standard stick shift vehicle.

My DH is going to do this when we are there in Dec. You should call the phone # for the driving experience and ask these specific questions. DH has been wanting to do this for a while... last time we were there, they were at another location. They have finally made the Driving experience close to year round there. (they can do this because they do not have any NASCAR races)
