I have booked the Richard Petty Driving Experience for DH. I was wandering is it better to hang out for the 4 hours that my DH is doing this or go shopping for an hour or two and then meet up for when he's actually on the track.

Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks,

We did this at another track (Homestead) and they were very family friendly. Took the kids around the track in a van, let you take all of the pics you want -- very nice!

It would be hard to pin point when your DH would actually hit the track, so I would stick around. It's fun to watch.

We are going to hang aroundd when he goes. It would be a shame to miss him. After all he spends must of his time hanging around waiting for us. I am so excited I can't wait till Christmas. My DH is always giving to us but he nevr does for himself. I'll have to have the kids video tape him when he opens his present. I think we will be going the 3rd of Jan. Gina

When a friend of ours did it, we went to Magic Kingdom while he had his training, then he called us when they went out to the track. He volunteered to run later, and we got there in plenty of time to see him run.

Also, if you are military eligible, Shades of Green has the rookie driving experience for $320.00.
