I guess I have lower standards, because I've enjoyed the show since the first episode. So far, the only question they haven't answered -- well, that I see as a question -- is why the electricity went off. Everything that doesn't run on electricity seems to be working fine, although I could quibble a bit that there are biological and chemical functions involve electric current. I won't, though, because I suspect that whatever turned off the power was targeted very specifically.
I had the British girl spotted as a red shirt since day one. She had no connection to any of the main story line, and ya just gotta kill somebody eventually. Other than her, though, they don't seem to have redshirts at this point. (By the way, my wife informed me that what would have killed her would have been shock from the blood loss, not the blood loss itself. The body can cope with massive blood loss if shock can be prevented.)
I'm looking forward to two weeks from now to see what comes next!
