Ah, Thank you...this is some valuable information that Im sure one day I will find very usefull.......until then, it will remain in my sick and twisted mind waiting an escape. Bear...this will, at some point, be used to make someone either laugh or throw up...I have no idea which direction it will lean toward, but Im happy either way.

I ran into this several years ago when I was selling my van. I started an email Correspondence with a guy who wanted to send me a large check that was susposed to be for a failed transaction on another car. I told hom I couldn't go along with it but he insisted it was ligidiment. Well I decided to do some checking so I called the FBI office in Indy. And they told me all about the scam then several weeks later it was in the news. I guess I was going to be his first but I ain't quite that dumb.

my husband gets the people who fell for it in the bank all the time...sometimes they can catch them before they try to deposit or cash the checks
