When I refer to coffee as "leaded" or "unleaded" I'm not usually referring to the alchohol content. I may have to view the morning brew in a whole new way!

So after accepting bail out money, my bank, which purchased a loser bank that invested heavily into subprime loans in December, announced today that they had losses of over 248 million dollars in the 4th quarter of 2008 and would be laying off 10% of their workforce in an effort to stay afloat. In the meantime, we were innundated with letters and propaganda on monitors at the branch about how solid they were. That bar on the beach looks better every day.

Our neighbor works at Regions Bank, with their bail out $ they bought out a bank in another state that was going under then stopped ALL loans at this bank. That doesn't sound like what the $ was suppose to be for to me.

Mine is PNC. The loser bank was something like National Bank Corporation.

The bank I work for won't accept any government money here or in the UK. I hope they can continue that. We have had layoffs, but they won't accept a handout!
