Revival of the angry thread!

Grrrrrrrr!!!!!! Went by the storage place today to get something out of the camper, and my factory custom cover is GONE!!!!!!

I asked at the office if maybe they saw it blowing around and picked it up, but nope!! They said they walk the lot every day and noticed it was gone about a week ago.

GRRRRRRRR!!!!!

They noticed it was gone..but they didn't think to call you?::confused3 ...Nice.:rolleyes2

Carol...thank stinks of theft to me.
I'd call the police just to make a report. Our storage places in Fla have cameras - so if your storage place does too, maybe they could start by seeing if the cover actually blew off or if someone helped themself to it.

I'm thinking the cover is too heavy to have just blown away. Blow off and land in the storage yard? Yes. Blown off and down the street? No!

Yeah, it probably does, but either way, I've decided it's not worth the hassle. We're in the process of signing a contract on getting a garage built in our back yard, so a few weeks without a cover isn't going to hurt it. Our insurance deductible is almost as much as the cost of a new cover anyway.

If you believe all that stuff about health care being recession proof, a cardiologist I know just laid off 10% of his office staff.

I know our co-pay for seeing a specialist is $50.00. That's if we get the authorization to see one. Then the medication prescribed isn't one that offers a generic and costs  $100.00 for a two week supply. Again..after it gets a prior authorization from the insurance company. It's enough to make you sick-er. :crazy2:
So are we running to the doctor? Nope. We are waiting until things get bad, and then the health care cost are even bigger. It's an vicious cycle. :rolleyes2
I have a feeling we're not the only ones.

Our Dr. says his business is down by 25 percent, he has 2 offices and may have to close 1 and also lay off some people if things get worse.

We're not in Kansas anymore, toto!!

The evening news is really depressing....rarely a mention of things getting better.....tons of people getting let go from jobs theyve been expecting to retire on.......if a person can live without something..you can bet they are living without it right now. Shoe cobblers have reported a raise in business, when is the last time youve ever even heard of a shoe cobbler? ...but Hershey's kisses reported a 20%+ raise in sales...America is still craving chocolate, but in much tinier amounts!!! America...holding onto what we can....learning to live without what we must.

Is that because instead of seeking treatment his patients are having heart attacks and croaking?

Yeah, coincidentally the local undertaker says business is great.

On a happier note, my credit card has finally returned from the Caribbean with a great tan and actually lost a little weight.

I'm angry at ME!! I dropped & broke my favorite coffee mug yesterday. It shattered into a "brazillian" pieces. It had sentimental value because a friend of mine, who is now departed, gave it to me. It was my Pooh & Piglet mug.

I guess I'll have to pull out another mug from my endless collection of Disney mugs. It just won't be the same, though. :sad2:

Arrrrgh!!

Hey Deb, why don't you look on EBAY for a replacement. I bet you find the same one. We have broken stuff in the past and was able to find it on EBAY.

Chris!!!! It's good to see you!!!

I thought about looking on e-bay, but I loved the mug because of the person who gave it to me & she is no longer living. It just wouldn't be the same to me.:guilty:

why does the CM tell me that I can't have discounts applied to my ressie if it is over 14 days long?

Well, thats because the CM is sniffing Liquid Paper between phone calls.

That is pretty standard. It used to be 10 days for AAA reservations. I've had to split up reservations bunches of times to receive discounts.
