Review of Tony's in MK

What a shame. We had so-so experience at Tony's but even that wouldn't make me want to rush back anytime soon.

We ate there in February. I was not impressed at all. The best part of the meal was the dessert and even that wasn't as good as others we had around the World. The service was ok but nothing spectacular. We are by-passing it when we go back in September. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Well you all have me re-thinking our dining plans... We have a reservation at Tony's for Dinner on April 21 :headache:

Hearken unto the mantra of all weary and desperate MK bound diners... Must use monorail.
:lmao:

 , we also skip TS restaurants in MK. The only one we will eat at is Crystal Palace. We usually hop on the monorail and eat at either Kona, or go to Epcot and eat at the restaurants in World Showcase. :cheer2:

The funny thing is that spaghetti & meatballs, ziti, etc. are pretty easy meals to prepare. You would think consistency wouldn't be a problem.

We had a terrible experience at the Big River Brewery at the Boardwalk. Ambience was deafening, poor service, none of our food was great, and my daughter lost her "cookies" that night back at the hotel. Never again!

DBF and I liked Tony's - we have trouble finding places for us to eat since he is super picky and doesn't really like character meals, so places for TS meals around MK can be problematic. I don't remember specifically what I had for dinner - I think it might have been the eggplant - so I guess that doesn't speak well that it was fairly unemorable, but I do remember we thought that the calamari as an appetizer was very yummy, and the Tiramisu for dessert was really really good!

We also had great service - our waiter was Dirk and he was really great! Very attentive, friendly, gave us plenty of time between courses, always had a full glass. Loved him! We're planning on going back next trip. Hope our experience wasn't just a fluke!
