"No Way José" Sundae

Recipe By :Beaches and Cream, Beach Club Resort
Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories :

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
2 scoops Chocolate Ice Cream
2 scoops Vanilla Ice Cream
1/2 cup Jif Smooth Peanut Butter
1/2 cup Hot Fudge Sauce
1 tablespoon Peanut Butter Morsels -- (1 to 2)
1 tablespoon Chocolate Morsels -- (1 to 2)
Reddi-Wip (or good quality) Whipped Cream
Cherry

If you can find an ice cream glass to fit everything that is best, however a large bowl will do.
Heat the peanut butter in the top of a double boiler until it's liquid and pourable. Warm up the Hot Fudge Sauce.
Put a couple spoons of the Hot Fudge sauce at the bottom of the bowl.
Then alternately add a few scoops of ice cream followed by some Peanut Butter Topping and Hot Fudge.
Top it off with a generous amount of aeresol Whipped Cream and some Peanut Butter and Chocolate Morsels.
Place a maraschino cherry on top and garnish the serving plate with more Peanut Butter and Chocolate morsels.

Note: Just like the cocktails, the wait staff don't actually use a measuring cup or anything for the amounts - which is why each sundae may be slightly different. Mine had the chocolate and peanut butter morsels added inside the bowl - not just sprinkled on top. Other sundaes may not have the fudge sauce at the bottom of the dish. When I make it home, I also plan to use more sauce than my sundae had.

Have not eaten there. Thought of it a couple of times, but go to Ghirardelli instead.

We went once. It was okay......I prefer Ghirardelli for ice cream treats and the other food is just okay.

Have eaten at Mara a few times. Fine for resort counter service. My big draw there has always been the Zebra Domes. :thumbsup2

Beaches and Cream. Never eaten there. Gone in twice and left. The first time was crowded and unorganized without really any line. Just a mass of bodies trying to squish to the front while glaring at others. :rotfl2:
The second time was a wait (as usual). And the food that was going out to the tables looked okay at best.
That ended up being the one time we went to the ice cream place at the Swalphin.

We ate there a couple of times. It was good, but one of the times, I got sick :(

Not yet, Heidi ;) It won't take long. Short trip so not so much to pack.....but it is on the schedule for today. At least to get it started.

We got ice cream from there the last time we stayed at the YC, but not food. I'm interested in the Kitchen Sink! I always have it on my list, but since we haven't stayed at YBC in a few years, we haven't done it.

Beaches and cream - have eat there several times when staying at the BCV. The ice creams are nice, but huge! We got a 1 person banana split one year that we shared between 4 of us and still put some back in the freezer in our room. We keep meaning to try the kitchen sink, maybe next time we are there!!

We haven't tried Wolfgang Pucks

WGE - Yes, both sides (West and Marketplace) a few times each. (MOre so on Marketplace side.)
Food has never been bad. Just not a must do for us. People on the DDP seem to love it. And when you consider it is a counter service, the food is pretty good. But if paying OOP, I would eat elsewhere. Not a big draw for us.

I've never eaten there either.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes for Dave :)
And Happy Birthday to your nephew, Missy :bday:

Have eaten at Captain's Grille breakfast, lunch and dinner. Never walked away disappointed and would not hesitate to eat there again. Always good service too.
