I bet the clouds and especially the showers make it feel really chilly! I guess I'm surprised that it's that cool there this time of year. Not that I have any idea what it should be. Never been to California.

I think it was about 60 yesterday.....cold at night. We stayed to watch the Electric Light Parade......got seating about 2 hours early  So I was really cold by the time it was over. But a 5 minute walk and we were in our room :teeth: Gotta love that!!

The bus driver from the airport said showers were expected overnight, but not during the day, so we'll see. I packed carry-on for this trip, so not as prepared as I usually would be

I'd love to go to DL sometime but it's way too far to drive and I just don't think I could make myself get on a plane for that length of time either. :scared1: I bet you're loving it! :goodvibes

I meant to post this here, but posted it on the QOTD thread instead. :rotfl:

My sisters, dad & me on Easter. I'm all the way on the right.

Donna how are you feeling?

I am doing really good with my knee, as I alread told Nancy I had full mobility by my second thearphy session. I'm just not allowed long walks yet, especially if the ground is uneven.

I agree about not getting on a plane to Disneyland.

Missy nice picture.

Hope you're having a great time in CA, Nancy. Would love to go back, haven't been to DisneyLand since before I got married, several, several years ago. Maybe one day. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Very nice Easter photo Missy.

Sounds like you're doing better than I am, Heidi. I'm having a few issues and I'm just so tired and worn out. I hope time will help! Really glad you're doing well. :goodvibes

Sorry you are having issues, but time and plenty of rest will help.

Nice picture, Missy.
Glad you are doing well, Heidi.
sorry you still aren't, Donna :( Hope it happens soon.

Today's crowds were so much better!!
It rained a bit in the morning, so we hit all the big ones at DL......loved it.

If I can fly to FL, you all can do it to CA ;) :rotfl: Not my favorite thing, but if it gets me to a fun Disney vacation, I can manage.

That was one thing nice about living in Nebraska. Made no difference which side of the US we went. They were pretty much the same distance.
South Bend IN is only a 2 to maybe 2.5 hour flight.... It would not take long to be here in sunny FL from IN. (I'm an ex-Hoosier too.)

Take some photos Nancy! :thumbsup2
Ya gotta love that walk. Very convenient.

I didn't know you are an ex-Hoosier, Barbara. I live in Southern Indiana right across the Ohio River from Louisville. It's a two hour flight from here to Orlando. The thing that I really, really don't like (:scared1:) is all the turbulence. I just really hate that. It seems the older I get, the more I hate it. :) Anyway, I enjoyed our trip by car in October. We took our time and it was rather relaxing. That's the first time we've driven in years. I'll see how relaxing a trip it is to drive in June with a 7 year old and a 12 year old. :rotfl2:

LOL....that could be some trip. Take lots to keep them entertained....movies, if possible.

I am taking some pictures. I already had so many. I did take a lot of our room. I would love to see the rest of one (we're in a studio).

I find more turbulence on flights going down the coast than I do on the cross country flights.

I came here to show you the pins I bought today :rotfl:

So disappointed no Villa pins. DVC merchandize is very lacking here at this poing anyway.

Nice pins! Love the Chip & Dale one and the Daisy Duck one is really cute, too.

Not as many pins here and pin trading doesn't seem to be as popular.

We are having issues with the TV in the room now
Started yesterday afternoon with it turning itself on......did that 3 times over about 4 hours and then the opposite. Started turning itself off every minute or two. Called down and supposedly they came to look at it while we were at dinner. They called about 9:30 PM to check. It seemed okay then......but turned itself on at 5:20 this morning  and then again at 6:15.
