The Outer Banks. We have gone there just about every year since I was a little kid. We stay in a little town called Avon, rent a house oceanfront and enjoy the view. It's amazing! A great place to kick back and reconnect with the world. Love it there.
Growing up it was always the shore, but I won't swim in the ocean.
Before our first trip to Disney (2000) John and I never vacationed, and we like Disney so right now have no plans to go elsewhere. Beside I am not the outdoorsy type and school field trips to zoos and museums was enough of those for me. Although one year we will get to Salem.
I like Las Vegas.....and cruising. Loved the Panama Canal crossing and would like to do it again. Debated going on the next Disney one, but decided we needed to some different things first.
Also, love cruising to Alaska.
And the beach in winter.....love the cold temps and high winds and rain on the beach.
We love Myrtle Beach and try to vacation there every year. We own a Marriott timeshare as well and exchange into the Marriott in Myrtle Beach, we just love this resort.
Talking about storms we had several back to back storms last night. It did take a small break from the heavy rains, so my sister and I could take a swim in our pool.
Hands down, LOST. Followed by House. I don't watch much tv, these two shows pretty much do it for me.
As far as looking forward to a new show, I don't have any idea what's coming out for the fall. Should probably look for something, LOST is done for good in May, very sad.
(Anyone else read the Dexter books? I read three. And I don't think the 4th has been released yet.)
I have not heard anything about the Tudors, so I looked around on sho.com. Found that season 4 is the final season, and returns in spring 2010. Looks like I have a long wait....
