Ok, we were in DHS on the exact same day!! I have to admit for searching your pictures carefully for a glimpse of someone in my family. No go though. That would have been a hoot! I'm glad your TSM wait wasn't longand that you all got to ride it together. I really like the Alice pictures. She's one of my favorites.

TOO FUNNY!! I have to tell you - I was at Mall of America on MLK Day and I swore I saw someone who looked like your son! Then I couldn't remember what you looked like, and I was debating going over to this woman. I second guessed myself so much I didn't do it. Now I see your picture again, and it sure wasn't you!! She did remind me of someone on these boards, I just couldn't figure out who!

Yay for a DIS meet!! It's always fun to meet up with DISers!! Oh wow--ya'll got to meet quite a few characters in the WS!! I'm wanting the 4 Parks, One World cd--do you like it?! Thanks for letting us know where you were able to find it!!

I really like it! The kids do too! They were "making" a haunted mansion in the family room and playing Grim Grinning Ghosts!! It was so fun to see Shawna! Too bad we live so far away (she's from TX).

I bet you were in for a big treat at Teppan Edo -- it's one of our favorite restaurants on property!

Shawna and I were following each other around the parks! We had schedules that matched up nicely! I'll post about Teppan Edo later today hopefully!

Great updates! I love all the pics. I can't wait to hear all about Teppan Edo. We are eating there in May and I haven't really read too many TR reviews about it!

I'll tell you all about it and feel free to ask questions!! Charleston Princess (Jackie) has been there a lot too.

All your PP pics are great! It looked like a beautiful day! Such a deep blue sky. Can't wait to hear about Teppan Edo. We've never been there but it gets very good reviews. Hooray for short character lines! I expect to wait for rides, but it is kind of annoying to wait a long time for characters.

It was a great day! I really have been advocating for NOT waiting for characters, since we have met most of them at least once. But when it's someone new, I'm more likely to wait. Especially if we luck out with short lines!

LOVE the back to back picture. ADORABLE!!!

That same Alice was in UK this past June. Lily, my DD who is 9, was in her Alice dress. We had walked ALL THE WAY TO THE UK from the front of the park, just so she could see Alice that day. Anyway... Alice is coming out from the rose garden toward that door where she takes pictures... and she spots Lily waiting for her in her Alice dress.... and she starts RUNNING over there..... she grabs her in a hug and says, " YOU LOOK JUST LIKE ME!" Lily was so thrilled. She has long blonde hair just like Alice does, so she really did look just like her.

It just made Lily's day and made is worth walking to the UK in 117 degree June heat Glad to see your DD's met that same sweet Alice

We really got a lot in at DHS that day and it was a bonus to find Shawna again! Thank God for texting! I can never hear my phone ringing at WDW!

I'll try to update this weekend. I actually had to bring home some work! I have a pretty busy week next week and have to work all 5 days (usually I have Fridays off), so we'll see how much DISing I can do.

We have a winter carnival up here too! It is held in February at our #1 Tourist (and Local) Attraction - Fort William Historical PArk!!! One of the foremost Fur Trade Posts of the Northwest Company! Y'all should come up and check it out! It is so fun!! We go there at least 2x a year!

Your Crystal Palace dinner sounded great; you got really good character interaction! Glad you enjoyed the MVMCP, even though it sounds like it was crowded. You had 6 pins to chose from? They only had 2 on the 13th; I guess they sold out?
