Resort choices

I have never stayed on site so I am having alot of anxiety on whether or not I have made the right choices so please reassure me these are good choices. 3 nights dining plan FQ waterview ,2 nights conceirge AKL (sunrise safari),3 nights standard BWI,then on to Royal Pacific for 6 nights.I am having the most doubts about 3 nights at FQ ,I am wondering if I should try WL instead because of the great reviews or 3 nights in a standard at AKL before my conceirge stay(can't afford 5 nights at conceirge)so I don't change resorts so many times.I would appreciate any feedback you could give me!!!

I agree with your idea to stay at AKL in a standard before switching to concierge. I think you can do without FQ, and thats a lot of switching resorts!

We've never stayed at the WDW hotels you wrote about,but we have stayed at the Royal Pacific. We're going to WDW May 29-June 3, then we're going to the Royal Pacific for 3 nights. This will the fourth time for us at the RP.You'll love it!
The rooms are not large but who stays in the room - not me. The grounds are magnificent. The walk to IOA is beautiful and only about 5-10 minutes.Very often,you beat the water ferry. The food is excellent.Try the luau-its great fun.
I am going on and on and could do so for quite a while. I'm excited for you!
The only problem is the thermostat-most hotels are like this now. There is a motion detector.If it senses no motion,it will kick off.Coming back to a warm hotel room at the end of a long hot day is not pleasant. We will buy a helium balloon with a weighted bottom and place it in front of the sensor and hopefully this movement will trick the thermostat.

Thanks for the information,I have actually stayed at The Royal Pacific and I really liked it alot more than the Portifino,the main reason I want to stay at the FQ is it has great reviews and I got a great AAA deal and I figure I would use those 3 nights for MVMCP,Cirque du Soleil,and Fantasmic and if I just stay at AKL and BWI I may not want to leave the resorts because there is so much to do there.
