Thank you for sharing your latest adventure! I know it must take a lot of time to write each chapter, go thru photos, put together your food rankings etc. You really know how to find all the good food! I'll watch for your next TR.

Thank you so much! I usually take notes as I go along and then DH and I discuss each night what we had that day and give it our rankings in a spreadsheet so that part is easy to pull together at the end. Writing about it just helps to keep the memories alive (and get me to the next trip). We already have some new treats on the docket for this next trip! Thank you for reading along.

We depart for our next trip in only 7 days

Yay! Get out of this cold!

I want to say that when we drive we never hit 95 in CT...I think we take the Merritt but I don't know if that would make sense for you coming from MA. I just googled our directions and we go 91S to 15S to 8S then get on 95 somewhere almost out of CT. The times we have been on the Merritt at like 3-4 am it's been really quiet and not trafficky at all. We have also taken 84 to 81 somehow but that adds on a lot of time.

We’re looking forward to experiencing our first Festival of the Arts (catching the end of it on our first few days) and we’re also hoping to catch the beginning of the Flower & Garden Festival.

Perfect timing! I love that you get to experience both!

Me too! Flower & Garden is our favorite but we've never been to Festival of the Arts.

We have started taking the Garden state parkway when we drive (once a year) It avoids the NJTP for most of it.
I’m not sure if that’s helpful.

I got the chocolate croissant muffin this morning…. Very good!
The latte machine wasn’t working so while I was waiting for the coffee I asked a CM where I could find the Riviera cookie I heard they’re delicious. There were boxes of them that she offered me but I said unfortunately they are only for me I only wanted a couple. She said ooh I’ll check for you. The other CM was able to get my coffee so I took it to find a seat forgetting all about the cookie. She came and found me said I was looking all over for you. She brought 2 of them, and when I said ooh I need to go pay for them. She said no they’re on me!! It was a manager type CM. She said bc I was so excited about them!!
That made my day!
It is gorgeous here today mid 70s I have been sitting on a bench in the sun people watching for almost an hour! Haha it’s glorious

That sounds like a perfect day! So happy to hear you got to try the croissant muffin and the Riviera cookies. We are counting down the hours until our departure. Hoping to be on the road by 3 am.
