My DD6 is ADD/no hyperactive but you wouldn't know it at home. Listening to you ladies, this sounds like the common demonator with their unwillingness to change resorts. And those public meltdowns, YIKES. Plus she had to get glasses this year, and in April she might have to start patching her eye for astigmatism (did I spell that right). So I kinda feed into her whims. She really is a strong girl, and a good girl when it comes down to it.
I hear you on the meltdowns!

This is why I love the DIS! Not only do you all share my obsession with the Mouse, but there's also others who can relate to other struggles in life. We need to be seen by the doctor and reevaluated again. I think DS needs to be put on medication because his temper and his anger are really spiraling out of control and I'm concerned for him. I can't imagine being so little and my brain making me feel that way. It must be torture for him. Unfortunately, they can't get me in until NOVEMBER 30TH!!!![]()
My DD was on a waiting list for an appt for 7 months (she was recently diagnosed) it's ridiculous! My DH was ADHD and he is dead set against meds. She goes for follow up August (right before our trip). The anger thing must be so hard, sometimes I try to get her to relax and she says "I want to but I can't help it" Poor babies...HUGS.
I take mine to a regular Psychiatrist. that way we get in faster, and the teachers etc participate in filling out forms etc. Usually takes a few weeks to get in for an evaluation that way.
Also, most school systems will give your child a free evaluation for "learning concerns".
I hear you on that one. The most important thing for your DS is a stable, loving family...and that doesn't need to include the "birth father". My DB is autistic and our "birth father" hasn't seen him in 30 years, trust me he is soooo much better off. Every time he got involved it would set my brother back emotionally. Sounds like your babies are well taken care of by their Mommy![]()
Oldest DS has never seen his bio dad. Good riddance to him too! So I can relate.

My hormones are out of control. I went from the girl that never sheds a tear to the blubbering idiot who will cry over anything! I will definitely keep you posted.....if she ever decides to come out lol
Hee hee hee - shouldn't tell you this but oldest DS was 3 weeks late! They had to induce... Hope she pops out soon!
Now back to our regularly scheduled resort changes.
And I do mean that!
Today I'm all set to book POP. How about you?
