But how do VGF Guests then get to the Monorail? Use the emergency stairs or enter through the lobby?

Admittedly I am so glad they aren't staying at the Poly since that's where we have reservations.

Over here, after receiving the ‘what ya doin?’ Isabella email; I tried many times to call Disney.
when I finally managed to speak with a cm regarding our oct/nov (fingers crossed)
trip- she told me if I had not called regarding the room only bookings they would stay in the system.
I was like no!!!!
The email specifically states if no contact -bookings would be cancelled.
Once again, lack of consistency.

I must ask-what does MF mean?
I only recognise those letters together as a rather naughty thing to say

You can access the main building at GF from VGF without passing GF's outer buildings or courtyard pool. It would be fairly easy to funnel VGF guests to the back, side entrance of the main building.

Your VGF reservation should be fine as that resort is slated to be open for both DVC members and cash guests. It's the resort side of GF that the NBA is reportedly using.

I am sure the courtyard pool will not be open to guests...only the other one.

Yes, we do. they will be there 3.5 months. Plus each team can book 17 rooms after they are done playing.

We have a split stay, spending a few nights at the Villas at the Grand Floridian (VGF) and then to thee Polynesian Vllas & Bungalows (PVB).

It is being reported on Twitter by a reputable source that they will be using Yacht Club, Grand Flo, and Gran Destino. I can’t remember the timeline on play but I think it is to wrap up by the end of September. (someone please correct me, I am not a sports fan so haven’t been watching that too closely). There is no confirmation from Disney (and likely may never be). It is possible though not confirmed that as teams lose they will consolidate players into fewer resorts. All speculation though.
