Resort Change by Disney

Hopefully more hotels will open up as Fall Frenzy starts, because otherwise, there's not going to be a place to move most people to.
We are traveling right after Thanksgiving - one of the biggest weeks for Fall Frenzy.

I called and spoke to a CM today. We are booked 7/22-7/27 at CSR. She assured me we'd be moved & not cancelled if CSR didn't reopen. She told me I should receive an email by Thursday.

Hoping we are included in the next group too ! But doubtful for us . We don’t arrive till 7/31

Which could be why they decided to use DVC now as they have the room, knowing by fall hotels will have to open?

They may be handling CSR differently because of NBA.

We’re at CSR 8/4. I’ve been so anxious about hearing something. Fingers crossed for Thursday!

Keeping my fingers crossed she is right. Our check in date is July 17th ASMO and I am just ready to know something about what is going to happen.

For Aug 5-12 they had everything except studio available at Copper Creek.

Figured since a studio is what we wanted.

Mine is at the same time and same resort, I was told that I would be responsible for any extra costs with THEM relocating me. She found out real quick that I didnt think that was fair at all

Also today is my 60 day fast pass day. No clue where I will be staying, whatdays or parks I can enter, if my hopper will be valid or if I will get credit back, or if I can get dining reservations for anywhere. I’m looking forward to a non over planned Disney trip and go with the flow - like how “it used to be” (albeit with social distancing, limited characters, no parades or fireworks lol).

I think you need to speak to the modification team or whatever they are called it doesnt seem the regular CMs know anything about it

I honestly do think some resorts will open by July 11th....just don't think a ton of them. Tourism is way down in Orlando and I think Florida seeing crazy numbers will also have an effect. I feel for everyone who lives and works in Orlando....if you think about all of us wondering about vacation, there are twice as many people wondering when they will be returning to work so they can put food on the table. I believe Disney has a plan, but that plan has a lot of moving pieces...but hopefully all will be good in the end.

Did anyone see that dining reservations open up for resort dining this Thursday, July 18 for people arriving between June 22-July 10? Ha my vacation is “supposed” to start July 7. Guess I’ll be making dining reservations before I know if I’m moving my vacation.

Somebody in one of my facebook groups called Disney today regarding their July 9 reservation at CBR and was told they didnt need to be moved because CBR will be open.
