Reservations for Full Hook Up and Premium in the Same Week?

We are thinking about adding days to our reservation for Christmas week. We currently have 5 days in a full hook-up and would like to add a few days either at the beginning or end. There are some days available, but on the front end it's for a preferred and on the back end it's for a premium. How does this work, do you end up moving if you have two different reservation types? We would actually prefer to be in a premium the whole time, but cannot find enough days to make it work.

We have had ressies in two different types of sites, preferred and premium. In March 2012 we had two nights on the front end in preferred and the remaining 5 days in premium. I called every day for 2 weeks prior to our arrival, but could not get a premium site for the first two days. When we arrived at FW, the CM noticed I had two ressies and was able to get us a premium site for our entire stay. I did have to pay a bit extra for the difference in the price of the site. The CM offered to let me keep the res as it was, but said we would have to change sites if we did not upgrade the first 2 nights.

In the end, it was worth it for us to upgrade and avoid the hassle of relocating. Good luck!

How does this work, do you end up moving if you have two different reservation types?

Keep trying.

With the holiday period being as full and jammed as it is, you can't rely on slack capacity to take care of you (there is none at that time). You would have to move as the CM relayed to tcu4me.

Can't guess if it's worth the hassle or not. Only you know how badly you want those extra days. But if it comes down to it, you would have to move.

So keep trying.

Have four different reservations for the month of January. One was for full hook up the others for preferred. Check each day and I think it will work out for you, I was just able to get the preferred I needed and cancelled the full hook up. Now in the process of linking them together.
