Ok...am a bit confused about this whole thing. If purchase resale at VWL how does that translate for Copper Creek? I'm hearing that VWL will now be called Boulder Ridge Villas. Just trying to figure out how the 7/11 month reservation thing will work! Also would look to buy add on points direct from Disney so does that change the 7/11 reservation part? Hope that makes sense!

If you purchase what was called VWL and has had the name changed to Boulder Ridge you will have the 11 month window there - at the old VWL building villas and 7 months everywhere else including Copper Creek. They are 2 separate associations.

Copper Creek (CCV) is a totally new DVC resort. It is completely separate association from Boulder Ridge, which was formerly called the Villas at Wilderness Lodge (VWL). The annual dues for CCV are different than those for VWL. The Wilderness Lodge Hotel guests share the amenities of the entire resort such as pools, health club, restaurants, bars, etc.with guests staying at CCV and guests staying at VWL.

If you do not buy CCV points, you cannot reserve any CCV villas for points until the 7 month window opens. Boulder Ridge points have no more "reservation power" at CCV than do those at BWV or BCV or VB or SSR or any other DVC resort.

Think of it as two different DVC resorts that share a front desk an some other common elements.
