Resale/Adding On Question

I know you can purchase under 150 points when you buy resale so... if you buy a resale, say 50 points as your initial purchase and then you want to add on, is there a minimum number of points you can purchase as an add on from DVC?

I believe the min. amt direct from Disney (once you purchased your resale) is 25 points.

That's one even I can answer. You are correct, if you buy resale and pass ROFR, you can become a member. Adding on from Disney direct the minimum is 25 points (cash) or 50 pts (financed).

The minimum is 25 points if you don't use/want Disney financing, and 50 points if you do.

And your add-on will have the same use year as your original purchase through resale.

Thanks guys! We're contemplating buying into DVC but aren't sure we can/want to do the 150 minimum points from Disney to start. We're in the "planning to start a family in a couple years" phase, lol
