Just got off the phone with CRO!

Booked 7 nights (2/2 - 2/9) for 2 adults, 5 day MYW with park hopper and WP & more, no flight or insurance for $1002!!!

We have our MNSSHP tickets from the rain out we will use for one of the days, and may upgrade to 10 day non expire before we leave so that we have 10ish WP and more visits to use on future trips with better weather. WOOO

if you don't get the card, we have every reason to believe that there will be codes for a similar discount available on Thursday.

We didn't get a deal at all using ZXE code. Our standard room at Wilderness lodge at rack rate for 1/16-26 was $2598.80(incl. tax) + $479.26 for 2 adult base MYW tickets = about $3080. The price we were quoted for 10 nights standard room at Wilderness Lodge and 2 adult MYW tickets was $3226.

I don't get it.

But thank you to those who had AAA ressies and changed or cancelled them, we now have our rooms booked with the AAA rate for over $400 less than before!

I called to apply the ZXE code and it would wind up costing me $68.38 more than what I'm paying now.

Not worth it IMO for hoppers & waterparks, as we rarely hop or swim in January. Oh well, it might have been nice to have the hopping option 'just incase'.

Still happy we're going to Disney!

The dats on the actual offer are different from what you can actually book through CRO. I just got off the phone with them and the lady told me that you have until 3/15 for that offer. If you at least check in by the 15th then you get the offer for your entire stay.

We got 3/8 thru 3/15 with 7 day park hopper plus waterparks and more
2 adults, 1 child, 1 infant
= 1469.38

Regular price with base tickets = $1722
Regular price with park hopper plus waterparks and more = $2026

If we would hae came in on the 7th and added another day of tickets it would have been 1600 even.

My AAA agent got the discount applied on our 1/9/08 - 01/19/08 (1 adult & 1 junior) and here is the breakdown

Disney - 10 nights pop, basic dining plan, 10 Day MYW with PH and WP - $2,381
AAA - same as above - $2,194(savings of $187)
AAA - same as above with visa code - $1,947(another savings of $247)

so in total we saved $434 by using AAA and the code.

Also, my AAA agent said that when she first talked to disney they said no discounts were allowed but when she called later they had no problems and said that even the people there are confused with all the different codes coming out....

I know! I was surprised too! I was counting on not being able to get it but I'd thought I'd ask just in case and lo and behold, I got it! Maybe it's only available for a few select dates.

The trip I booked through AAA before the code for 2 adults and 1 11-yr-old:

January 1-7, 2008 (6 nights)
Coronado Springs, standard room (AAA 20% discount on room)
5 day MYW + WP&M
$1654.77

After ZXE code:
$1561.11

A savings of $93.66, plus we now have park hopper option -- although we never park hop! ;-)

Best part: I had 943 Disney Reward Dream Dollars, so it only cost me $618.11! And I get 6 months @ 0% APR on that!

Thank God for Disney Visa and AAA!

I've tried to get the Visa and/or the AP discounts today for the BCV, BWV, or the WLV and was told there are none avail for my dates (1st week in Feb) I'm so disappointed! Any advice??? I did already have my ressie for the BCV and just wanted the code applied but was told no discounted rooms avail! Has anyone gotten discounts for those Villas for those dates?

Well, after arguing with my wonderful travel agent about this code being available, and her doing some checking in the office (apparently there was a special variation needed for AAA), we saved $573.45! I am totally excited about it since we were thinking about trying a waterpark this time and doing it for free is fantastic! Thank you so much to the Dis for having the codes posted.

Just to clarify, are people getting discounts beyond the designated price of a ticket upgrade? I see a lot of savings totals that seem greater than they should be, but I'm not clear on whether people are basing their savings on a package with a base ticket versus the same package with the ticket upgrade or whether other changes are being made to the ressies at the same time.

I booked through AAA. My agent was able to book the code and save me another $230.02 on top of the discounted rate I was already getting. All together I saved $573.
