Repo cruises 20% off??

I read someone received 20% off their repositioning cruise when booking on board another cruise. Can anyone confirm or deny if this is still the case?

The standard onboard booking is a 10% discount off the cruise fare, only a 10% deposit is required, and an onboard credit dependent upon the length of the cruise. I haven't heard of any other onboard booking offer that differs. Maybe they were confused about the 10% discount and 10% deposit - somehow got that into 20%?

I have seen some 20% off 10% down stuff recently while on board (last 3 cruises) Selective cruises and ships!

when i was onboard last month. dcl was running an onboard booking offer of 20% for a few select cruises. I believe it was transatlantics and panama canal

When we were on the 1/8/11 Magic there was a 20% offer with additional OBC for the Dream's MV. Wish we could have done that one!!! There have been 20% offers available onboard only when the cruises haven't been selling and it is close to the cruise date. The TA had that offer a couple years ago from what I remember.

Who's your travel agent? I've never heard of one going that high for an on board credit! That's really good!

While considering a couples trip EBTA, I started to look into airfare back to the states. WHEW! Fly from Barcelona to Orlando was $1400 PP, or fly to London on Iberia then to Sanford(Florida) was almost $850PP. The $2600.00 cruise was CHEAP CHEAP. But flying home wasn't.

FYI-it's true!! I just booked a transatlantic and got 20% off for booking on board. They are offering the 20% on most repo cruises.
