Renting umbrellas and chairs at Hilton Head

Any advice on renting umbrellas and chairs at Hilton Head?

What vendors work best?

You can rent them directly from the lifeguards. They will be set up and ready to go. It's pricey though. Much cheaper to either bring your own or buy cheap ones from somewhere on HHI and "gift" them to someone else.

As noted above, the HH Beach Patrol sets up and rents beach chairs/umbrellas right on the beach.

Some will purchase equipment locally (Kroger's carries items) and leave it for others when they leave.

Go get a $60 sports tent. It's bigger, cheaper, and more convenient.
