hi all
after everyones help on here i think i`ve made my villa desicion but i wondered whether i could ask just a,little bit more advice!sorry!
when contacting a villa owner what would be your top questions to ask ,i`ve asked about how we would get in ,how to pay to book and been told that we would be sent directions and codes to get into the area(sunset lakes)and the villa and we nned to give £100 non refundable deposit and pay the remainding balance 10wks prior to departure which seems all standard but there must be things i`ve forgotton to ask so
whats the top questions you always ask villa owners before booking ?
the poor womans going to end up with an email of loads of questions but she said she didn`t mind!!
thxs in advance liz

have you got pool heating,is there a agent for the property nearby,if i rent for 2 weeks do i get the 3rd week free :rotfl2:

thats the kind of things i really do need to ask! see i knew someone would know !

The questions you ask can vary depending on what you are looking for however, you should definitely confirm if a local Management Company are on hand in case you have any questions or problems whilst you are out there.

We ask:
Is the pool south facing? gets the sun all day if it is....
Are there ceiling fans in all the rooms? just something we like to have....
Is the pool fully fenced for extra privacy? for us a must....
Is the lounge tiled or carpeted? personally feel it's better for children with a carpet....
TVs in all the bedrooms? again just something we prefer....
VCR/DVD player in the lounge? a must have for Joshua....

Like I say you may not need all these, but can only advise on what we ask for, it could well be the website already answer most or all of the questions anyway.

Nearest supermarket & restaurants?

Pool towels provided?

Is there a phone? are local calls free? Do you need a credit card to activate it?

Hi!
As a villa owner - most of the questions above are usually displayed on a good website.
The booking form will have alot of information on it too.
But yes,ask away - most villa owners I know are always happy to answer as many e-mails as necessary to put their guests at ease.

Enjoy your holiday,
Lynn
