Perhaps somebody can help me.

My daughter and I live in the Pittsburgh, PA area. We are planning a June trip to Disney World.
We would like to RENT a car for a ONE-way drive to Disney and the Wilderness Lodge.

Our question is this:

WHERE (conveniently) could we drop-OFF the car once we arrive ?

Is there a spot on Disney Property itself ?

Must it be dropped-off at city NEAR Orlando ?

We do NOT want to drop it off at the airport, we know that.

I am not at all familiar with the Orlando area. Thus I am very concerned about the drop-off location, AND connecting to Disney in some other fashion.

So, has anyone been faced with a similar dilemma ?

I do not really CARE which rental agency we use----as long as an out of state, one-way trip is permitted.

Like I said, my MAIN concern is that we are able to drop this vehicle off at a place that is CONVENIENT---by that I mean actually ON Disney property itself, or quite close by.

Can anyone help ??

IDEALLY, we would like to drop it off right AT the Wilderness Lodge. Does anyone suppose this could possibly be arranged ?

Thanks in advance.

The magic kingdom parking lot very near the wilderness lodge, has the "car care center" which house the alamo / national rental car counter. You can arrange to return the car there and they will give you a ride in the shuttle to the wilderness lodge! It is only minutes from there!

Have fun, MKY :D

There is also another rental desk on-site at the Dolphin Hotel near Epcot. I believe it is Alamo and National, but not at all sure.

Dollar has a drop off location at one of the Downtown Disney Hotels. Several other companies also have drop off locations at one of the Downtown Disney Hotels. As far as I know, all of the agencies have complimentary shuttles. Other options to return to the WL include a cab ($10-$12, including tip) or an easy walk to DD. You can get a bus to the WL at DD.

My advice is to check the major agencies for the best price for your trip. You can check the individual web sites for the drop off locations near WDW. The web sites include phone numbers if you have questions about charges or drop off sites.
