Amazing. I don't think I'll be getting up at 7am to try for the VQ if this pattern continues.

It was just weird that they were all gone by 1:05 at the latest on Sunday. Thankful that I got one at 7 that day.

I would be interested in this as well. It appears there is available BGs right now....but my expectation is the park hopper ppl still can't get one.

You can’t even park hope at two and try for a boarding group. We parked hop on Monday and found out hard way. I thought as long as we were in Epcot we could have a shot. You have to have Epcot as your first park to try for BG. Of course they could change rules at anytime. This was our experience on Monday.

We won't get there until 2 pm...do you have to be in the park at 1 pm to try to get a BG? It's our arrival (and only Epcot) day.

Did you find out? I do not come till the late afternoon

They do not open till 11 so 11-1 is a short window btw

Wondering the same thing for us. Do we have to tap in to try for 1pm BGs? I know they said we had to, but what they say, and what is true are sometimes different.

I will be there next weekend and happy to report back. Sunday we are doing epcot open until maybe 245 then hopping to MK. Monday starting at HS then hopping to epcot around 3, I plan to try for a BG 7am first day and if that doesn't work both days at 1.

This rule would explain why Epcot isn't running out of boarding groups for Remy. Most people don't have Epcot as their primary park given that it doesn't open till 11, you can hop there at 2, and it doesn't run out of park reservations.

Can I try to get a BG from the airport and hope we can get there in time to use it? Our plane lands around 10:00am and I am hoping we can be at Epcot by 12:00 - only about an hr. after open (part of the reason I chose it as our arrival day park).

Also, on a related note, am I crazy picking Epcot on a Saturday? I saw a Touring Plans blog yesterday listing that as one of several rookie mistakes for Epcot. It seemed like a logical choice given our arrival time and resort (Swan).

We try to avoid Epcot on the weekends during Food & Wine Festival. It's noticeably more crowded than on weekdays.

You can try for a BG at 7AM with the understanding that you may miss your BG and be unable to ride. Personally, given that BG's seem to be taking a bit of time to fill at 1PM, I would wait and try at 1PM once I knew I was in the park and able to ride.

It's been opening at 9 since 10/1. Pushes back to 10 next week.
ETA: they went pretty quick on Sat and Sun (I know Sunday they were gone by at least 1:05), weekends are likely busier due to F&W though.

I don’t know if any where even available because the app would not even let us look. Said we’re we’re not eligible. We were even inside Epcot at 2.

Oh, I guess there was a join button but next screen was to choose the folks in the party. None of us had an original Epcot reservation and that is when it said we were not eligible.

sorry, didn’t really pay attention to the screens. The next morning, our Epcot day I was frantically hitting refresh at 7am. I was able to grab us BG 10. My daughter was doing it same time but it sold out quick or maybe because she was in my group and she had a BG.

just would be nice if you park hope and they had slot available you could get it but it appears at this time only reserved for folks that Epcot was their first park.

I know with ROTR they usually let you in even if it was hours past your boarding group time. I'm not sure if anybody has tested that with Remy yet.

Has anyone tried getting a 1PM boarding group before tapping in? I know that technically you can’t but it doesn’t always work out that way. We won’t be arriving at the park until 3pm.
