Remy BG

How busy are the parks actually? In looking at wait times, nothing looks that busy. I’m actually quite surprised. As of 2:40pm:

Flight 20 min
Rise 40 min
Tower 13 min
Frozen 40 min
Space 25
Mansion 50 min

I know the people that are attending today may be there more for the experiences and not the rides, so I’d be curious to hear from somewhere there.
Given the lines of people outside waiting to hop into MK and the masses huddled in the hub i think majority of people are there for 50th day of events and merch (even though its been out for weeks and people got into a brawl over a tumbler this morning)

This is awesome news. I'd heard that this is a high-capacity ride and it has already tested tech. So, this is what I was hoping would happen. Hoping now it will be standby by Feb when we arrive

It will be great if BGs are easily available after 1:00.

The thought of having to be up at 7am to get BG for a park that does not open until 11am is not a happy thought.

Is the buzz over the 50th….fizzling?. Doesn’t seem like people are coming out in troves to visit Disney theme parks.

to have a debut ride in Epcot not sell out the BG’s is telling…

I looked this afternoon and wait times in all 4 parks were not bad. RoTR was 55 minutes.
Nothing in MK was over 50 minutes.
Maybe that will change tonight.

It seemed to be the case all day. Given mk and Epcot were listed as 10 for crowds im thinking something was off. It looks like waits are similar to where they were on days the parks were 1. Was anyone on site to confirm if the parks attendance was flop or did people just not want to ride rides?

We’ve been here all week, and wait times have been minimal - including today - especially in the afternoon and evening. I was worried it would be our most crowded trip, and it actually ended up being one with some of the lowest crowds we’ve experienced (the merchandise situation in MK today notwithstanding).

Hoping it is that easy tomorrow! My guess is the crowds at MK today will be at EP Saturday.

Got a boarding pass at 1pm without tapping in. Announcement at around 350pm passes were gone. I'm guessing it's a high capacity ride. Queue took about 15-20 minutes after being called.
The area looks great. The ride was very cute.

I bet it's a higher capacity than RotR. I haven't seen any Remy videos because I want to be surprised, but I doubt they are pulling you into like four different rooms for four different preshows. While the vehicles look similar it's probably easier to just put people in the ride vehicles then go through all the different RotR stages before you physically sit down in the vehicle. Plus with less preshow stuff there is a lesser chance of things breaking down, so hopefully it's a more efficient ride system.

Any updates on this for the last couple of days? I see all the reports in the 1st, but I was wondering about the 2nd and then today. :)

Are you guys using multiple phones to try for a BG? DD and I would both try for Rise. She was always the one to get a group.

Snagged #73 this morning (10/3) during the 7am drop. Of course our estimated return time is during our Space 220 lunch reservation. 1st world Disney problems….

This sort of happened to us. Had 1-2 Remy- got to EPC for resort early opened, and booked it to 220. Got in line and begged myself a 1230 lunch ressie. Had to take it, cause getting one online is impossible. Ate fast in about an hour and legged it to Remy. No worries, rode it 3 times, they don't kick you out.

Was that during an AP preview? You definitely can't ride it multiple times with the BGs.

Yes it was, we had 1-2pm. Like I said, we got there at about 130 cause we snagged a walk up Space 220 lunch ressie and couldnt not take it. First ride waited about 20-25 minutes, the next 2 we went right back around with no waits at all.
