I think I forgot to mention our stateroom host is Craig and I had the bacon wrapped filet last night. It really was good. Finally after 2 cruises, I tried the mango soup everyone has been talking about. THIS is a MUST have people !! :thumbsup2 It tastes just like a orange creamsicle ( sp) My only regret is I waited so like to have tried it.

Well guess that's it for now, DH is really looking forward to finally going fishing on Castaway. I am going with him also We were married on Castaway in Nov.04 so we can't wait to see our special place.

Tina.....Did you marry on the turkey day sailing in Nov. 04?

Well, it has been a lot of fun so far; I finally have a few moments to chat.

First of all the Royal Suite surprise was a huge success. I managed to get through check-in and the porters without a hitch. Joyce(famof8) happened to be in area so she took video us walking up to the Roy suite and she followed my family around the suite. This was totally unplanned, but worked out great. She already burned the video to disc and gave it to me. When I get back I will post the video to my website.

Castaway Cay was a lot of fun and the Welcome Aboard and Michael Harrison shows were great too. We just had Palo Brunch so we are "fat and happy" :)

The highlight of the cruise was the jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom (it is not what you think). :goodvibes

After CC we came back to the suite and put Catherine and Sarah in the tub. We add lots of bubble bath and turned on the Jacuzzi. The whole scene looked liked something out of "I Love Lucy". Suds were everywhere and the girls had a blast. We took video which I will also post since you can't see anything but their heads above the suds. Very hysterical.

It is Monday afternoon and we are on our way to Costa Maya. Hopefully I will check in later in the week.

Jeff

Hey Jeff, glad to see you made it to the computer......are ya doing anything to let them know you ARE a Turkryday sailor? Hot Legs? Bon Jovi? Come on Jeff.....find Pikey and don't let us down!!!!!

Hey Andy.......if you get a chance to talk to Pikey could you find out if he is going to be on the Magic for the Eastern sailing the week after Thanksgiving....tell him "Tink" from the turkeyday sailing says "hey".....

Congratulations and
WELCOME HOME DVC NEIGHBOR!

I went to enter my blog report for yesterday and found out I was out of bandwith for the month, never happened top me before so I didn't know what to do, I wound up buying some more bandwith space, if that's what you call it, lol, so since Melody reported she saw the entry I made this morning, I'm guessing it's up and running again.

Hazel is up in the cabin trying to get Sleeping Beauty up so we can go ashore here at Costa Maya.

Flo, I haven't seen the item you asked me about in the Cove Cafe as of yet. :guilty:

We are all having a great time and eating way too much food, LOL!!!

Congrats Ed on the DVC purchase, I was wondering how you made out, since we saw you just before you went for the presentation. I hung around for the art auction, but didn't bid on anything. It was fun to sit in and watch the craziness that was going on with the bidding.

Well, I'm heading up back to the cabin to see if my girls are ready to leave the ship. :wave2:

Great reports Andy.

Guess we'll have to start calling you Verandah Man, son of Verandah Mom.

Enjoy your trip. We are all enjoying your trip too. :goodvibes

Another great entry. Costa Maya! I was actually on the sailing that went there for the first time although the Magic was not scheduled to go there. We had rough seas and the ship had to miss Key West and redivert. Well we loved it and the feedback was so great from the cruisers, that shortly after it was offered by DCL! Have a great time and let us know what you think!

My only two goals for this cruise left are to talk to Pikey and Jeremy(or however you spelll his name I'm bad at spelling and get a picture with both them)

Make sure you go to Pub Night on Friday night at Diversions with them! It's hilarious! :teeth: :rotfl: :thumbsup2

Lampy--I spoke with Pikey before we left the ship today, he said that he will be on the Wonder come November, so I guess you will miss him on your next sailing.

We spent about an hour on Costa Maya, Hazel and I each got a t-shirt and one magnet for our frig at home, Angelina got a pair of sunglasses, and my mom bought a few t-shirts for some of her friends. Oh, we also got a little gift for my co-worker that is taking care of our cat while we are away.

Angelina wants to see the movie "The Wild" at 4pm, so we will be missing the Castaway Club Reception at 5pm today. It was announced early in the week that there were about 1300 Castaway Club members on this cruise.

Hazel and I just finished lunch at Topsiders, we are one hour behind the eastern time zone, we had to turn our clocks back one hour Sunday night before going to bed.

I guess that's the latest for now, I will be adding a few more pics to my blog report tomorrow morning. :wave2:

Andy don't miss out on the CC reception, it's brand new and was quite a bit of fun. It's now called the Castaway Club House and they play a game called the Castaway Challange and it's fun and they gave out prizes. Lots of cool video shown too.

I had planned to go to the CC reception, but since this is Angelina's Sweet 16th Birthday Cruise, and I bailed out on her with the BBR, I am allowing her to make some other choices of things she and I can do together, She really wants me to go and see "The Wild" with her, so the CC reception will have to wait until the "NEXT" cruise!!!

Hey Lampy,

Absolutely! I spoke to Pikey on CC Sunday and told him that the TurkeyDay Cruisers were still talking about him. He started to laugh and shake his head; I guess you guys left a big impression on him. He said you guys were great and remembered "Tinkerbell" well. I guess you will have to fill me in on that one.

Jeff, how funny. My friend Cherry is the one who checked your ID's at the gate. I forgot to tell her that I had mentioned to you to pass her a note, well, she comes up to the breakroom and says to me that at first she thought she was getting passed a ransom note...lol. It was pretty funny, she said how cool of an idea that was to surprise your family. So how's the suite?

When I passed her the note she seems a little confused, but then a big smile came over her face. It was pretty funny!

Oh, good reason to miss it then. Just another reason for you and the family to come back again. =o)
