WOOHOOO!!!:dance3::banana::banana::woohoo::woohoo::cheer2::dogdance::mickeyjum:tigger::ccat::jumping1:party:

SOO SOO excited for you!!

Did I just read CRAB Nachos??? Must go investigate this...

There are SO many things Dbf and I want to do..I'd like to maybe do the Seeds Tour in the Land...the Carriage ride maybe during Christmas to see all the Christmas decorations that all the campers have set up in Ft. Wilderness?? I think it was Samantha Brown that showed that, looks awfully cool, maybe with some hot chocolate?! :thumbsup2
I think they are actually called Crab Tostados or something like that. but they look really yummy!

I really really REALLY want to go to Disney during the Holidays. I want to see all of the decorations.

Happy Single Digit Day! It won't be long now until you're walking down Main Street.

 I think this one was so hard for me because I like MuppetVision, Philharmagic and Toy Story Mania almost equally. I think Muppets is the one I like best though.

I'm so behind on the other questions, so here goes...

Food item to be shipped to me- Some Cocanut Curry Chicken Soup from Bomma, I think. :thumbsup2

Favorite Fireworks Spot- Usually if I'm going to stop and wait somewhere to watch the fireworks I usually pick Main Street or the Hub, but my favorite place I've seen fireworks from is probably Big Thuder Mountain.

Something Never Done/ experienced/ etc.- Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT. Hopefully I'll make it there later this year.

That's cool that you're going to get your Silhouettes done. When I was little, we used to get new Silhouettes every year either on Main Street or in Liberty Square (not sure if they still do them there though). Swiss Family Treehouse is fun too- very charming with some nice views. And you've never checked out the shops in Fantasyland? Be sure not to miss Willie the Giant at Sir Mickey's or Aurora's gown in Castle Couture.
I have seen a lot of the shops but not Castle Couture. I have been to Sir Mickey's, I love how that one looks. So neat.

Food & Wine Festival is another event that I really want to catch someday.

Well, it is built by a company which is at home in the only country where there isn't a speed limit on the highways! ;) Did you know that BMW, Audi and Mercedes actually sell these package tours to (mainly) Americans that they can come to pick up their car at the factory in Germany, use it for a holiday here and then have it shipped to the US. Of course it is meant for the single purpose of being able to use the full power of that engine at least once legally on a public road. :goodvibes
Oh my goodness. I can just imagine how many people do that. :rotfl2:

WOOT WOOT!! So excited for you!!!

Hmmm...something I want to try that I have never done before....can I have two...I want to finally see Country Bears just to say I have seen it LOL!!!

As far as food goes I really want to try the Figaro fries...they just sound so yummy!!!
Country Bears just make me sad, I loved them so much when I was little but now...they just look so sad.

Single digits AND no more work Mondays?? Woot!!

What would I still like to do at WDW? Hmmm... lots of things actually. I think that is one of the things I like best about WDW- no matter how often you go, you never do it all and still have new things to try.

I have yet to cruise the jungle or try BTMRR at night. Would love to do some of the tours. AK at night is another thing on the list. Still tons of restaurants I want to try, which are hard to fit in since it feels like I have 187 "must do" restaurants for each trip. I have never seen Fantastmic or the Nemo or Beauty & the Beast shows at DHS. I'm sure there's more but you get the idea!

Love the idea of the silhouette photos as a new tradition for your family as it grows! :goodvibes
NO MORE WORK MONDAYS!! Yayayayaya!

That is so true, there are always things leftover to do at Disney. That is just one of the many reasons that I love it so much.

I love that smilie that is circling around. I really feel like that this week.

Yay for single digits!!!!!!!:rockband::dancer:party::jumping1:
Woo Hoo!!

That used to bother my mom, too. As much as she liked to say she'd fly by the seat of her pants, if I deviated from plans, that would throw her into a tizzy. :lmao:

You never know, Belle will probably enjoy it, too! ;)
Belle would probably enjoy it a whole lot. :rotfl2:

Hey LL!!!! I got to go back and catch up but I am not going to miss your send off!!!! :yay: YAY for single digits!!!! :thumbsup2
Hey There! I've read you latest update just haven't commented yet. It's busy around these parts too.

I thought of another thing I want to do - Food and Wine with my DH. It will be a long time before we get to go without the kids though! I might have to try to do it with them too.

You know, I have started planning less with each trip. Usually we have a meal reservation somewhere and know which Park to go to based on EMH and whether we have hoppers. That's about it. Between the four of us, there's only a few things that we have to do - I ask everyone their choice, what their favorite thing is and we try to do it. Then we just do whatever we feel like and where the lines are not long!
I think since you have the park hours, EMH and such, you will be fine without a big planned out thing. It will be liberating for you!!! So little stress trying to squeeze things in - you will be back - no big deal if you don't do it all!!
I think planning less is key for me. The less I plan the more I feel accomplished with how much we get down which leads me to not get frustrated. :thumbsup2

Oh my goodness!!! I need to get back to the World just to try those crab nachos! After reading your wish list, I am seriously drooling!

I am so brain dead, I can't think of anything at the moment that I would want to see/buy/etc. that I haven't been able to yet, and you know if I was able to actually think, I would have a long list. :lmao:
Yum, Yum. I really want to try them so I hope we make them time to get over there.

Oh, I know that you have a long list. :thumbsup2 You are just fried from your freaky day! :scared1:

I think this is a good attitude and will work well toward you guys having a nice, relaxing, yet full-of-fun trip. :thumbsup2 Set loose plans and be open to options as the day wears on. Works for us!
I think it will work really well for us too.

Woo hoo for 8 days!!
Love that dancing Mickey & Minnie!

Great list. I can't say enough good things about the Chocolate Moose. So very yummy. The Emporium is an awesome shop, there are so many things in there to look at and not just to buy. I love the decor.

8 days!

8 days!!

8 days!!!

Quite honestly, time is crawling by. Ugh. I'm so ready for it to be next Tuesday. We'll be headed up to Manchester to spend the day and then the next morning will be DISNEY DAY!

I have to tell you about a funny dream I had on Sunday night. Marc & I were eating lunch at Les Chefs de France and Remy was being shown around the room. He makes our way to our table, the CM shows him. I ask her if I can touch him, she says yes and I reach out and snap Remy in half! :scared1: My annual pass was then revoked and I was escorted out of the park. :scared1::scared1:

I have no idea what this means about me. :lmao: Apparently I have some aggression towards poor little Remy. I love him though! I fell asleep watching Ratatouille on Sunday night so I'm blaming it on that. :rolleyes1

In Two Weeks...

It will be our last full Disney day. :sad2:

Again...we have no concrete plans for during the day. I'm leaning towards moseying over to Hollywood Studios again, probably for rope drop or close to it so we can partake in the Toy Story Mania stampede.

That night we will be enjoying the sights, frights & sounds of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. :woohoo:

We will be dressing up of course, in our fabulous 50's costumes. I'm very excited. We are going to get there before 7PM when the party officially starts. I am hoping that we will be let in early as in years past. I'm a little worried about getting there too early since this is the first party of the year since there was a rumor about them not letting MNSSHP ticket holders in early anymore. Fun fact, we also attended the first party of the year in 2008.

We don't have any concrete plans for MNSSHP either. Honestly, I think our focus will be more on the rides than the characters. I would like to see Hallowishes, I'm not so attached to Boo to You. If we make it, we make it. I am going to go with the flow on our last night in Disney.

Question of the Day. If you could force everyone on the DIS to experience one attraction/show/resort/food/etc., what would it be?

My answer is Finding Nemo: The Musical. It's amazing. It's well worth the wait in line and the time it takes out of your day. Go see it!

No more Mondays!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2 I could do without that EVERY week!!! :cool1:

Oh my re: your Disney dream!!!! Poor Remy! Poor LL!! Maybe it is not Remy but rats in general ;) It is so funny we get these dreams close to our trips...its like when one is sick and they have fever dreams!! :rotfl2:

Hmmm another tough question today I haven't seen Finding Nemo I guess we will use one of my most favorite rides....TOT....I would like for everyone to experience the brilliant theming! It would make for a really fun group shot too!! :goodvibes

Tracy

p.s. C love the martini smiley!! :)

Try/Do/Explore? I would really like to do a segway tour. It doesn't necessarily have to be Disney since I have read about this really cool one in Celebration, Florida and I am sure it is cheaper than the Disney tours. Jen really wants to do the one at FW on our trip. I am hesistant because Denny has been singing me the money blues. He is really trying to make me feel quilty because we have already spent quite a few vacation dollars.

I would also like to go up in the balloon at DTD. I think the views would be amazing.

Oh, yeah.....and I still haven't ridden EE in the dark!

Force Someone Else to Do????? Oh brother....that's tough! I think I would force the SSR neutral or haters to stay in one of the villas overlooking DTD. I would also force everyone to have a stay at Vero Beach! Oh - and Flying Fish - YUM!

Tracy - that is actually a really, really good answer. Because I do think that everyone should try to overcome their fears and just experience this ride. I know that if I can do it, so can others. Group shot is a great idea and I love this idea for a ToT Dismeet!

p.s. go see Nemo - its really good.

:yay: to 8 days and :rotfl2: to your dream.

TOUGH question. I'm going to have to think about it and come back. I have to be strategic b/c I'm not sure I want some of my very favorite things to get too popular and crowded... :rolleyes1 That and I just don't know how to answer.

I don't know what was going on in that dream. I don't know what horrified me more...breaking Remy or getting my AP revoked. :rotfl2:

I just don't think I'm brave enough to ride Tower of Terror, it really does terrify me. :lmao:

I would really like to go up in the balloon, that would be so much fun to see everything from up above.

I liked staying at SSR, I just wouldn't do it without a car. I can't imagine relying on the buses while there.

The thing that gets me about ToT is that you don't know how many times you will go up and down. I think I'd do better if I knew it was just one drop. I could survive that...but the unknown....:scared1:

:yay: to 8 days and :rotfl2: to your dream.

I was thinking about things becoming overcrowded too! :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

I read on another thread that guests can enter at 4pm with their MNSSHP tickets. Someone called Disney or asked a CM while there for the official answer (or something like that). I'm hoping that this is true because we have ressies at CRT for 4:25pm before MNSSHP!!!

Hmm...if I could force eveyone on the DIS to see/do something at WDW.....I'd have to say watch Wishes from the middle of Main Street. There is something about that location that makes Wishes so magical.

Here's the thread about MNSSHP entry time. A DIS member actually emailed Disney!!

MNSSHP Thread

That thread makes me feel so much better! Normally it wouldn't be a big deal but I don't want to be stuck sitting outside the gate for three hours dressed up. :rotfl2:

They talked about the party entry at 4 p.m. on the podcast recently and confirmed that it would be allowed at 4. We did so for the Christmas party and it was great!
What's the Boo to You? Is that a different show?

Bummer about Remy and the AP in your dream!:lmao: I'm sure it had to do with watching the movie!

What would I force everyone to do??? Hmmm... It's a Small World. Classic Disney, then everyone can get that song stuck in their heads!! In all seriousness, I think everyone should stay on property, and go to an early ADR at MK so they can walk down Main Street practically empty and get a great picture with the Castle!!

Sheree-Boo to You is the MNSSHP parade. It looks awesome!!!

Ahh, thank you. I was suspecting it was something like that. And Hallowishes is the fireworks. Someday I'd like to go in fall (we have a school break of two days in October) and hit MNSSHP and F&W!

Hmmm, I guess it would be to visit at the holidays. It is like a whole other wold seeing everything decorated. And something else that is cool about the winter is having so much more darkness. When you have small kids you don't get to spend too much dark time at the parks. In fact, I think we only saw MK dark when we saw Spectro last year. So if you go in the winter you get to see everything lit up a lot more. Even if not decorated for Christmas.
But I want to change your question around to what would I love to force Non-Dis people to do. And even more specifically the people who think you are nuts fo going so often as a married without kids couple or for us---the people who think we are crazy for going time and again with kids who are "too young to remember".
What is the one thing you wish you could force them to do that you think would sell them on Disney?
For me, most people I run into have small children of their own. I would say a ride on the Magic Kingdom railroad to see the park before you really experience it or a fun Hidden Mickey hunt through your hotel right as you check in.
Anyway, sorry to change it like that. I just got back from my church group and someone got up on their soapbox to say they would never spend money on a trip to an overpriced place like Disney until all of their kids could read.

Your going to be there in no time. The last week always drags before vacation.

I think I'd make everyone try ToT, even if they chicken out at the end. The themeing for that attraction is so absolutely perfect I think everyone should check it out. (And really if my complete ride wimp of a mother can do it anyone can :rotfl:).

And now that you mentioned Boo to You I'm going to be singing that all day. It's one of those tunes that doesn't leave my head.

I love those ignorant people. I'm more than happy when they stay away from my parks!;)

Oh what an awful dream!!! I'm sure it was a combo of the movie from Sunday and just normal excitement/anxiety over the trip. :goodvibes

EIGHT DAYS!!!! :dance3: Time will go by more quickly for you hopefully...once the weekend is here it will ZIP!

What would I force everyone to do...hmm...that is a tough one...

I think I would make everyone to have at least one "no plans" day - and really have it be NO PLANS. Completely go with the flow whatever you are feeling, do. Don't worry about crowds, don't worry about ADRs, just go and BE. Let the magic happen and wash over you! They really seem to make for the very best days at Disney World!
