9 DAYS!!!! yay!

I have also read that Figaro Fries are gone from the menu.

We did the sillouettes with our girls on their first trip. I'd like to do it again to compare.

I want to take my girls to Tea at the Grand Floridian. DH wants to rent a watercraft of some sort and tool around bay lake!

If you didn't have such a rocking MNSSHP costume, I would FORCE you to dress up as the lovely Epcot yellow tights girl. It is totally you. ;)

Oh. My. LORDY.
Best. Costume. Idea. Ever.
For then next MNSSHP I go to...which will likely be in 2012.

If you could have one food item shipped to your house from Disney, what would it be?

I have this perfect spot in my kitchen for a Dole Whip machine the likes of which they have at Capt. Cook's. ::yes::

As for the question of the day...What is something that you want to try/do/explore/buy/etc. at Disney that you haven't gotten to yet?

I've been saying for years now that I'm going to do the 'Behind the Seeds' tour at The Land. I've yet to do it. Not this trip either. But maybe the 2011 1/2 Marathon trip!

I think my biggest thing that I've had on my list for the last 2 trips is Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. I will make it up there this trip!

Fond memories here for me from when we explored this when I was young. It's nothing mind-blowing but a sweet little diversion. :goodvibes

Dancing potassium for single digits!!!

:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1: for single digits!!

The one thing I never got to do, but actually want to do (so it's on top of my never done list!) are the films in the World Showcase. I really want to see Oh Canada. The only one I have ever seen is the Norwegian one and I will definitely not repeat that!! :scared1:
I've only see the France one and that one is really good. I especially like the music, probably more than the film itself.

Single digit dance!!! :cool1::cool1::yay::banana::banana::banana::banana::cool1:

I've never seen Wishes. It is a total must do for this trip!

I love the "go with flow" "all about Marc and I" attitude of this trip! You guys are going to have a blast!
I'm loving the go with the flow attitude as well. I have a feeling this trip may shape up completely different than how I've been imagining it and I'm 100% okay with that.

:cool1: How exciting? 9 Days! Woo Hoo!

The one thing I'd like to try/do at Disney would have to be the parasailing. One of these days I'd like to give that a try.
I want to go parasailing as well. I'm hoping on the yet to finalized August 2011 trip.

Hmmmmm :scratchin
I have always wanted to try California Grill....and I am in October :goodvibes

Someday I want to rent a car....does that count?! I am just never feeling the driving :rotfl: Although the reasons for that has something to do with seeing  "The Dark Side."

Tracy
Is the Dark Side Universal Studios? Or your driving? :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: Sorry! Couldn't resist.

I want to try California Grill as well. Someday!

First of all, yay for single digits!

party:party:party:party:party:

I say throw out the itinerary! Fly by the seat of your pants! WOO HOO!!!!! pirate:

And it's funny that you ask that question, because I just booked my ADRs today for my February trip, and we're trying some new (to us) restaurants. Probably my most anticipated, however, that I have always wanted to try is Akershus. We've booked a breakfast, and I'm super excited about meeting the princesses, and hopefully getting a picture with Belle in her gold dress!

And my three men. :lmao: But hey, I figure as the lone lady of the household, I must have at least one girlie thing on this trip! :goodvibes
I'm very tempted to throw it out. In all honestly, it's more of a guideline anyways. When I get down there I like to throw it out the window and just do what I feel like doing. I think I drive Jen a little nuts with that when we travel together. :rotfl2:

Oh, Akershus is a good new thing to try! I think your picture will look adorable with Belle and your three men. :thumbsup2

Fantasmic, any signature dining experience, typhoon lagoon
I will likely not get to any of these this trip. :-(
so I will add pick a pearl, ohana, anything in or at Grand Floridian and pick a pearl.
I think I may have Tom take Abby Rose to Fantasmic on our DHS day. I'll stay in the hotel with the boys. She would love it but they would be awful. I got to do CRT with her last trip as a special thing. So it is his turn.
:rotfl2: Nope, no Pluto getting added. It would be cute but I'm good with my cute black poodle. I don't have time to remove and add a new one.

Pick a Pearl is so much fun! It's a cute little ceremony that they do too.

Wooooooo-hoooooooooo for Single Digits!!!

---boo! I found a cute picture of Goofy dancing but it gets blocked by the DIS! I'll try to find a new one--

Here is one - not quite as cute, but still fun and dancing!

:yay:

I am really loving your go with the flow plans for this trip! Go pirate!!

As for something I've always wanted to do but haven't...eat a Mickey Waffle! I WILL get that done this trip!
Very cute picture of Goofy dancing!

I've never had a Mickey Waffle either but it's not high on my priority. I'm much more into pancakes than waffles.

Figaro Fries are officially off the menu but if you ask they will put those toppings on them and give you the ranch dressing.

You should do the silhouettes again. That would be really neat to compare them. I want to search the DIS to see if I can find out how expensive they are.

Oh. My. LORDY.

I can't take credit for the idea, Leisa mentioned as a suggestion. It's an awesome one!

Oooh, how cool would a soft serve ice cream machine be. Heaven. I would also never lose any weight. :rotfl2:

Woo Hoo!! Single Digits!!

I must really want to do it since I just reread my post and listed it twice. :rotfl:

The Dark Side is Universal  I want to check out Harry land someday ;) Although my driving is....:rotfl: I can't help it...driving a Mini it is basically a requirement to drive uber fast :drive: :rotfl2:

I would love to see someone dressed up as our friend from SE....I would totally go ask to have my picture taken with her!!! ::yes::

Tracy

:lmao: I noticed that. I do things like that all the time on the DIS.

:thumbsup2

:lmao: Okay, just checking. I want to go to Universal too but after it calms down a bit.

I think it's a great costume idea. The CMs would get such a kick out of it.

WOOHOOO!!!:dance3::banana::banana::woohoo::woohoo::cheer2::dogdance::mickeyjum:tigger::ccat::jumping1:party:

SOO SOO excited for you!!

Did I just read CRAB Nachos??? Must go investigate this...

There are SO many things Dbf and I want to do..I'd like to maybe do the Seeds Tour in the Land...the Carriage ride maybe during Christmas to see all the Christmas decorations that all the campers have set up in Ft. Wilderness?? I think it was Samantha Brown that showed that, looks awfully cool, maybe with some hot chocolate?! :thumbsup2

Happy Single Digit Day! It won't be long now until you're walking down Main Street.

Really, the hardest question yet? Oooh, I must come up with harder ones. :rotfl2:

Good answer though, I do love the muppets myself.

 I think this one was so hard for me because I like MuppetVision, Philharmagic and Toy Story Mania almost equally. I think Muppets is the one I like best though.

I'm so behind on the other questions, so here goes...

Food item to be shipped to me- Some Cocanut Curry Chicken Soup from Bomma, I think. :thumbsup2

Favorite Fireworks Spot- Usually if I'm going to stop and wait somewhere to watch the fireworks I usually pick Main Street or the Hub, but my favorite place I've seen fireworks from is probably Big Thuder Mountain.

Something Never Done/ experienced/ etc.- Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT. Hopefully I'll make it there later this year.

That's cool that you're going to get your Silhouettes done. When I was little, we used to get new Silhouettes every year either on Main Street or in Liberty Square (not sure if they still do them there though). Swiss Family Treehouse is fun too- very charming with some nice views. And you've never checked out the shops in Fantasyland? Be sure not to miss Willie the Giant at Sir Mickey's or Aurora's gown in Castle Couture.

I can't help it...driving a Mini it is basically a requirement to drive uber fast :drive: :rotfl2:

Well, it is built by a company which is at home in the only country where there isn't a speed limit on the highways! ;) Did you know that BMW, Audi and Mercedes actually sell these package tours to (mainly) Americans that they can come to pick up their car at the factory in Germany, use it for a holiday here and then have it shipped to the US. Of course it is meant for the single purpose of being able to use the full power of that engine at least once legally on a public road. :goodvibes

WOOT WOOT!! So excited for you!!!

Hmmm...something I want to try that I have never done before....can I have two...I want to finally see Country Bears just to say I have seen it LOL!!!

As far as food goes I really want to try the Figaro fries...they just sound so yummy!!!

Single digits AND no more work Mondays?? Woot!!

What would I still like to do at WDW? Hmmm... lots of things actually. I think that is one of the things I like best about WDW- no matter how often you go, you never do it all and still have new things to try.

I have yet to cruise the jungle or try BTMRR at night. Would love to do some of the tours. AK at night is another thing on the list. Still tons of restaurants I want to try, which are hard to fit in since it feels like I have 187 "must do" restaurants for each trip. I have never seen Fantastmic or the Nemo or Beauty & the Beast shows at DHS. I'm sure there's more but you get the idea!

Love the idea of the silhouette photos as a new tradition for your family as it grows! :goodvibes

I'm very tempted to throw it out. In all honestly, it's more of a guideline anyways. When I get down there I like to throw it out the window and just do what I feel like doing. I think I drive Jen a little nuts with that when we travel together. :rotfl2:

That used to bother my mom, too. As much as she liked to say she'd fly by the seat of her pants, if I deviated from plans, that would throw her into a tizzy. :lmao:

Oh, Akershus is a good new thing to try! I think your picture will look adorable with Belle and your three men. :thumbsup2

You never know, Belle will probably enjoy it, too! ;)

Hey LL!!!! I got to go back and catch up but I am not going to miss your send off!!!! :yay: YAY for single digits!!!! :thumbsup2

I thought of another thing I want to do - Food and Wine with my DH. It will be a long time before we get to go without the kids though! I might have to try to do it with them too.

You know, I have started planning less with each trip. Usually we have a meal reservation somewhere and know which Park to go to based on EMH and whether we have hoppers. That's about it. Between the four of us, there's only a few things that we have to do - I ask everyone their choice, what their favorite thing is and we try to do it. Then we just do whatever we feel like and where the lines are not long!
I think since you have the park hours, EMH and such, you will be fine without a big planned out thing. It will be liberating for you!!! So little stress trying to squeeze things in - you will be back - no big deal if you don't do it all!!

Oh my goodness!!! I need to get back to the World just to try those crab nachos! After reading your wish list, I am seriously drooling!

I am so brain dead, I can't think of anything at the moment that I would want to see/buy/etc. that I haven't been able to yet, and you know if I was able to actually think, I would have a long list. :lmao:

We have some plans but nothing concrete.

Plan A: Rope Drop at Magic Kingdom. Lunch @ Kona Cafe. Back to MK for Main St. Electrical Parade if we haven't seen it already.

Plan B: Rope Drop at Epcot (or close to it). Lunch @ Kona Cafe. Probably to MK for MSEP but maybe a nice relaxing night at Riverside.

Plan C: Who knows! :rotfl:

There are PM EMH's at Hollywood Studios this night and Marc really wants to go to them. He doesn't make many requests as far as trip plans go so maybe we'll do that. He says he had a great time at the EMH's we went too in '08 so he wants to repeat that.

The closer the trip gets, the more I want to throw my itinerary away. I'm sick of thinking about our plans. I just want to get there and see what happens!

I have made a list about things that I want to try to do this trip that I don't normally. If I don't get to them, I won't be upset. There is always next time.

I think this is a good attitude and will work well toward you guys having a nice, relaxing, yet full-of-fun trip. :thumbsup2 Set loose plans and be open to options as the day wears on. Works for us!
