Are you scared of heights at all? To me, the worst thing about Everest is when the train first heads up the mountain and it stops at the top where the train tracks have been torn up by the Yeti. There is a great aerial view of the park, and you can even see all the way to DHS, but I hate heights, so I felt sick just knowing how high up it was.
Other than that, I think it is a much smoother ride than BTMRR which unfortunately, I have ridden a lot in my life. The going backwards part is super quick, and I like Everest for the fact that it does stop a couple of times -- once when the tracks switch after going backwards and one other time where the Yeti shadow is (although now that I am thinking about it, that may have been the same moment
