Relaxation, Disney Style, PTR. ~*TRIP REPORT HAS STARTED! 9/18 Pg. 155*~

Hmm...one thing to be shipped to my house...

I'm thinking the almond crusted cheesecake from Narcoossee's but I'm quite hungry now so I also have Le Celliers filet, Kona's tuna oscar and CG's pork with polenta on my mind! Oh, and BD's cobb salad and...

I could go on. Now I'm depressed because I know there is going to be nothing deicious to find in my fridge!

Food item shipped to my house. Hmmmn. That is a tough one. I'd have to go with the Raglan Road Bread pudding. Which wouldn't ship well at all.
Yes, but in my game everything would ship perfectly. It would be the perfect temperature too!

Now, I'm really hungry too! :rotfl:

Your ak sounds wonderful! :cloud9: DH and I didn't go to AK on our first alone trip. I really looking forward to going alone together this time!

One food item shipped home?! I'm hungry right now so a lot of stuff is coming to mind right now! I'm going to go with Nachos from Mexico because I could totally go for some nachos right now ;) Yummy! Can I have a margarita too?!

Food Item would be Cali Grill's pork with polenta. Oh my goodness!!!

Leslie, I like to purchase pins at Epcot at the kiosk just behind Spaceship Earth.
Ask the CM to show you what they have for AP holders.
Anyplace you purchase pins should have them, just ask!!:goodvibes
DTD would be another great place...

Hurrah for 11 days. I will be most interested in hearing what you think of Everest. I am a ginormous chicken but oddly tempted to give this ride a try.

I hope I get a chance to try this Kobe burger you rave about!!

Sorry you're not feeling like you'll try the pretzel but I agree with you... feeling sick on vacation is not fun so avoid it if you think it might disagree with you.

I don't mean to stress you out... and maybe I'm delusional... but I could swear that I read recently that the BBQ chicken quesadilla is off the WPE menu. :scared:

Food item to have shipped home. Hmmm. That is a tough one. And I wonder if things would taste the same. :confused3 I have a funny feeling things just taste better in WDW! But potential items for me would be the Beaches & Cream burger and fries, croissants from the bakery in France, cheddar cheese soup and pretzel bread, ice cream sandwich from Main Street bakery. Are you sure we can only ship one thing?

Woo hoo for online check-in tomorrow!!!

Yeay for Animal Kingdom! Soon, Marc won't be able to hold it over your head that he has never been.

I won't hold it against you if you chicken out over Everest again since I did, too, on this past trip. Although, I can say I have ridden it once! It has another cool gift shop.

Oh, you know me, I can't settle on just one food item to ship to me. It would depend on my mood -- some days it would be a Dole Whip, other days it would be a funnel cake, and then on yet other days, it would be some sort of delectable drink. LOL!

I think Marc is going to love AK! It sounds like you've got a great day planned. :thumbsup2 And, I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that you try EE!

So it's not the salad and crab cake...or the salad and ravoli...so it's gotta be the crab cake and ravoli?!?! I totally expected the salad to make the cut!

Sorry to hear about the possibility of no cream cheese pretzel. But you are wise to play it safe! Being sick in Disney is no fun!

Your AK day looks wonderful! I much prefer EE over Dinosaur like Magdalene. Dinosaur is fun, but very jerky and rough. It doesn't have the height and speed like EE though, so it might be more your style over EE. If Marc is gonna have ya do one, Dinosaur is probably the better choice!

One item shipped home? Corn Dog Nuggets are the obvious choice for me!! I wonder if I would enjoy them as much without the view of the Castle?

??? This is a toughy, Leslie!!

Might have to be a Dole Whip!

Could I please have some Carrot-ginger soup from Boma shipped to my house?:yay:
I need to find that recipe and make some this fall.

Mmm...nachos would be really yummy!! I've been trying to lose 10lbs before Disney and I'm about half way there so food is always on my mind lately. :rotfl2:

I will try that pork polenta dish at California Grill someday!

Thanks on the tip about the pins. I'm so excited about them. I'm completely addicted to Disney pins!

You will adore the Kobe beef burger, at least I hope you do since I've been going on and on about it. :lmao:

Oh noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!! Why why why would they get rid of that? I must go investigate!

See, I'm the same way about EE. I'm terrified of trying it but I'm like a moth drawn to light, part of me wants to do it. I think I'm crazy. ;)

Woo hoo for online check-in tomorrow!!!

I can't wait for that! Trust me.

Is it super scary, Jackie? BTMRR I can handle. Compare and contrast if you will. :rotfl2:

I would ship Tonga Toast for sure. Or anything from Boma.
I still haven't tried either of those, someday!

I think Marc is going to love AK! It sounds like you've got a great day planned. :thumbsup2 And, I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that you try EE!
I just saw that the heat index for our AK day is 117. I think I will be melting away slowly throughout the day. :rotfl2:

You are right. It's the crab cake and ravioli. Don't get me wrong, I love the Cobb Salad but I think we are leaning towards splitting another appetizer or maybe an entree even depending on how we are feeling. We went out to eat last night for the first time since April and I didn't even eat HALF of my entree. So I really think we'll be splitting a lot of things.

Ugh, I don't like jerky. I don't know why I feel so guilty about passing on some rides. :confused3

??? This is a toughy, Leslie!!

Might have to be a Dole Whip!
I think we need to start an ice cream delivery service. :lmao:

This does look good!

I'd probably have a few hundred Kona steaks sent to my house, if I could have whatever I wanted from Disney World. YUM!

You'll have to send Brooklynn a Facebook picture when you are at Finding Nemo. :)

No Facebook updates this trip, though sending a picture to Brooklynn does make me want to set up my phone for it again. :lmao:

The Kobe Beef burger is amazing. Seriously good.

Aww, shucks!
Well, maybe she can youtube it on the day you go. She and I love to youtube Disney rides and attractions and pretend we are there. :goodvibes

I know, I know. But the Facebook updates stress me out and honestly I don't want anything to stress me out. I'm always worrying if I have done too little or too many or what should I say. :lmao: I think I'll do it again in January. I really want this trip to be about Marc & I.

I love to YouTube rides. Lately I have a hankering to go to Disneyland because I've been listening to the World of Color soundtrack and just listening to it makes me a bit teary!

YAY for online check in!! Now that is something that really makes the trip seem like it's finally here!! YAY!! I can't wait to be single digit dancing tomorrow WOOT WOOT!!!

Hmmm...if I could have one food item shipped to me, it would have to be the Fried Wontons from Yak and Yeti, they are just little pieces of heaven to me!!!! I could eat them for breakfast LOL!

Yep, this should be a nice relaxing 'Marc and Me' trip. ::yes::

I have no desire to go to California for anything except to go to Disneyland and to San Diego Zoo. Those two things I would love to see. I guess I could dip a toe in the Pacific Ocean while I was out there, too.

Oh yes it does!!

Really? Hmm, I didn't think you go with Fried Wontons. I thought it might be something from Brown Derby or Creme Brulee. :lmao:

I don't think Disneyland will happen in 2011, but maybe 2012. Marc has a bunch of friends that live out there so I told him he could go visit with them for a few days and leave me at Disneyland since he seems to think 2 days would be enough. 2 days is NEVER enough at any Disney place. :lmao:
