I received my cookbook 2 days ago. It is titled ...
"Puttin on the Peach Tree"

Hey I actually have that one (or at least, one of the editions of it -- I think the JL down there cranks out a new book every couple of years) In any case, their recipes ARE good! :goodvibes

Wow... All these cookbooks are making me hungry...

It reminds me of a book I have on Vidalia ONions (my sister used to live in Vidalia Georgia). In that book, they actually made cookies using onions. I see this cookbook has a recipe for garlic pudding -- could be an interesting complement to the cookies! :goodvibes

Thanks again, Cindy! :earsgirl:

Here ya go :) I actually collect cookie recipes...and other recipes and cookbooks..hence this annual exchange and the annual holiday recipe exchange too.

Sorry, I didn't post earlier, but the kiddies 'killed' our computer and this is the first time I have had a chance to use the library computer to post. I received my cookbook 2 days ago. It is titled ...
"Puttin on the Peach Tree"
Wow, what an awesome cookbook from the Junior League, Decatur Georgia.
DH was SOOOO happy. He snatched the book to look for HIS favorite recipe--- pecan pie!! His theory, that coming from Georgia it they should have several GREAT recipes. :rotfl2:
The hardest thing is trying to decide which recipe to try first!!!

I am happy to hear that you like it!! The junior league cookbooks are my favorites from all over the south and I had a hard time chosing---I have this in my personal collection and you will love it!! Also glad to hear that your DH likes it to---pecan pie is my DH's favorite!! Not to mention peach cobbler---I know his nanny's recipe if anyone is interested--I have not found it in a cookbook either.

Decatur, GA is about 20/25 mintues away(with no traffic!!)--I live in North fulton--decatur has a lot of history---and has very historical spots just like fulton county--
