Now I'm off to package mine up so I can get it in the mail tomorrow. :teeth:

I received my package today from Rose Mary (flrose)! It's wonderful! The "Lighthouse Secrets" recipe book is a really nice cookbook. There's so many great recipes...Pineapple-Zucchini Bread, Kahlua, Key Lime Cheesecake and Garlic Bubble Bread just to name a few. I know I'll get a lot of use out of the book.

The pretty postcard she included is very sweet. I also love the cute floral recipe cards, Florida "pop-up" sponge and beach themed Sniff's! Very cute & thoughtful goodies. My boyfriend is dying to add water to the pop-up sponge, he's never had a pop-up sponge before so he's very intrigued by it. Thank you Mary Rose! All of the items will be put to good use. You're awesome! :goodvibes

Mine is officially on it's way!!! Heading NE, and I hope my exchangee likes it!

Mine is out there on its way up :flower:
I have received a box from Mad4Mickey! Inside, there was a Mickey Mouse spaghetti server (with a gloved Mickey hand on the end of the handle), a boxed set of tulip note cards, a set of 4 Pooh-themed clips, a metal tin container with a set of 3 different sized star cookie cutters, a spatula, a silicone spoon spatula, a 100% cotton butterfly shaped "magic towel", and a "Texas Longhorn Cookbook and Campfire Tales" book by the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America!

This cookbook has a history and information about Longhorn cattle and ranch brands in Texas and recipes for beef and other "lazy critters" dishes, desserts, stews, breads, sauces, and drinks; including coffees and Schnapps!

I am having to practically beat my 13 yo DS off to keep him from taking off with the spaghetti server - he likes the Mickey hand! We have never seen one like that :teeth: I can really use the spatulas as mine seem to be wearing out or breaking as of late.

Thank you, Mishell!

:bounce: Yay....I'm sure Mishell will be glad to know it has arrived......took it awhile

I love those Mickey-handed things ::yes:: I have a ladle like that.

Yes, Priority Mail does not seem to be what it used to be! Even Priority, it took almost a week to get here. :confused3

Thank you Msdznyduck! Elaine sent me Taste and See that the Lord is Good, a cookbook put together by the St Mary's Rosary Society. It is a collection of recipes from the parishioners of St. Mary's Catholic Church in NJ.

Thanks for the extras too -- a magnet, Disney stickers, notepads and 3 Yankee tarts. They smell good!

I am glad you joined us for this exchange! ::MickeyMo

I'm confessing my sins here! I kept getting stuck late at work during tax week, and didn't think I'd make it to the post office, so one day, at work...I ordered (from Amazon) another copy of the book that I bought (actually in person at a regular bricks and mortar bookstore) sent directly to my receiver, ha, clever me! Sent it express shipping etc, checked on it a WEEK later and they hadn't even packed it to ship yet! Anyway, I hustled to the Post Office on Thursday afternoon and sent my original book Priority mail...It should be received Tuesday at the latest I was told.
