Refunds from 9/9 Wonder

My family of 5 was scheduled for 7 day land/sea starting at the BC 9/5/04. Travelling by car, we only made it to Warner Robins,GA where we spent 2 days watching Francis on TV, and 10 calls to Disney later, we rebooked for April 3rd. We are disappointed with the higher rate and the crowds we will now have to face. I had made this ressie 1/29/04, obviously to avoid the crowds and the cost of springbreak. I am paying for this trip myself, saving my whole year's salary at my part-time church job. It's a once in a lifetime shot for which we waited 7 months and now must wait another 7 months.

Disney still has my money, over $5K, and has yet to apply the deposit to the new ressie or reimbursement to my VISA. In addition, the Bon Voyage dept. has also not given credit to my VISA for stateroom decorations or the $500 I prepaid on my shipboard account. How long am I supposed to wait? My TA says be patient. WDW dining reimbursed 9/7 for Cindi breakfast. Anyone else wondering about the same thing?

Good News The credit has appeared on my CC account for my prepaid onboard account, and actually made it before the bill was due! My TA tells me DCL applied the rest on my new booking. Still doesn't seem fair they get to keep all that money from last July until this April, when we rebooked. Plus, they'll be wanting their extra $720 for increase rates.

Do you think I will finally stop whining when I'm sipping a cold drink on deck with DH?
