Refund at Checkout?

has anyone ever been owed a refund from their folio at checkout? Due to an issue at the resort, Disney issued us a credit during our stay. It offset all of the room charges we made and left us with a negative balance on our folio upon checkout. It's now been over 48 hours since checkout. How will they issue the refund? I assumed it would go towards the card we had set up for charging (debit) or the Disney Visa I used to pay for the room. I haven't seen any activity on either card. Is it too soon or is there another method I'm missing?

If it matters, we were a room only reservation.
 
It should go to the card on file. This can take 5-10 business days theoretically but should show up within 3-5.
 
Call or check on the website of the credit card on file. Like pp said it can take some days. Just keep your records and you should have no worries.
 
Give it time. It's most likely the credit card company, Chase in this case not Disney. It's called Disney Visa but they don't operate it. As others say, it can take several days for it to be processed.
