Referral bonuses & incentives?

I was wondering if you refer a friend to DVC and they join - do we get any incentives or bonuses?
I have a friend who wants more information on DVC.

My BIL received a $200 "bonus" when my family bought DVC. He could choose to get Disney dollars or use it as a credit toward next years dues...I think there was one other option, but can't remember what it was.

No bonuses are allowed to us living in Canada.

Sorry, no bonuses for Canadians, nor for the residents of about half the US states. But here in the other half, we get them, for direct purchases thru DVD. Last time it was $200, which I sent on in the form of Disney dollars to the folks who had just bought in. So toss the referral to one of us in a state that allows for the referral bonuses and they may send it on to you (or your friend). Don't let those referrals go to waste
