Reading newspapers...heat has pushed me inside after a morning of looking for deer on the California I-8 freeway border, looking for ravens on the slot machine for 7 cents...but reeled up goblet s...so took home 18.00....on Wednesday first responders have $10.00 in slot free play..then to border grocery store to buy Mangoes...then to V.A. for blood work appointment... they have to create a outline for the blood draw... not a seat in the lobby and 3 men in front of me request to see doctor TODAY!!!!

Sitting in the glow of a 5/8 Moon... Beauty of desert living is that you can sit outside when the sunset is out of light and a breeze... like an ocean cool if not for the neighbor going to work at 4:00 AM it would be doable

I'm watching Badlanders.. Allan ladd... from whom came my middle name... anyhow the opening scene is actually filmed at Yuma prison.. though with a undamed river...sure looks pretty (though not the drowning scene)... now just a canal

Rainy day here. I tend to read or listen to a book every day. Had a nurse and OT visit today. Phillies are in St Louis, so later game tonight. I will watch Jeopardy and maybe Shakespeare and Hathaway on demand.
