bscs, sorry that happened to you. See what happens with them, but if you decide you want to try another ticket agency, here's one. The prices are high, but you could always go for bleacher seats which aren't too bad if the weather's good.

I really don't care where I sit at a game. I had such trouble getting tickets the last few years I was happy just to be there. As a kid I often stood in the way back behind the grandstand seats. Still a good time. Fenway is such a special park. Obviously, the box seats near the infield are nice, but not only are they hard to get, they're expensive even at regular prices. I wouldn't worry too much about where you sit, you'll still have a good time.
As for what to do before the game (assuming you get tickets), you might consider doing the Fenway Tour, which I believe runs every day at 4pm. Your husband would really like it if he's a Sox fan. We did it last year with the kids and it was great - I posted about it and will include the link if I can find it. If I recall it cost about $12, but you get a behind the scenes look at the park, very fun.

Found it...
We ordered our tickets Monday morning. They said we'd get 2 e-mails confirming the purchase. We got the 1st but no 2nd one so we called tonight. They said they had our purchase in the records but the seller didn't have the tickets so they'd have to find us other ones!
. Take a deep breath. You have 4 months until the game and I am sure that you will get good seats.
Nobody has tickets in hand right now - so does that mean nobody gets confirmations? That sure is a lot of money being put out there without actual confirmation of tickets. Having never used Stubhub or any other ticket agency for Sox tickets, I don't know how it works, however, it would seem to me if it was a sure thing, the OP would have at least had a confirmation email. I would think that sellers have to commit to games regardless of whether they have tickets in hand.
Now stub hub is trying to seat us in bad seats!
