Surly~ DD (away at school) kept IM'ing me last night during the game..."Mom, I seriously am going to throw up" "OMG I can't take this, I feel sick..." I kept saying "it's only a game" and "breathe" but what I was thinking was: "you're only 18...you have NO idea "

I swore I wasn't going to do it, wasn't going to start believeing that maybe they could do it; but I have fallen into the trap again. .
.wearing the same outfit (take it off every morning and putting it on at night before I sit in the same place for the game - and it doesn't even match! A paint covered navy turtleneck under my gray "Fenway Park Est 1912 sweatshirt" paired with Mom's bright green Celtics sweatpants from 1983! - maybe it's the leprechaun that's helping!)

I really don't get this game, there was a guy in first base, and when I looked again he was in second, how did he got there? I cannot tell who scored or anything, I'm sooooo lost. Thank God for the little box with numbers on the right side of the tv screen.

I got a call from my Cape Cod friends this morning direct from the BWV's and she said her, her husband and 26yr.old son spent the night at ESPN last night....it was packed, but it was exciting.
They were scheduled for an IllumaNations cruise tonight, which they did not want to cancel, but figured they would just head back to their room at 9:30 after the cruise, or back to the ESPN club, if they could get in!! Lots of SOX fans down there last night she said, as well as Yanks fans too!
