Oh my, Where has the red eye pen been all my life?! I have blue eyes so I have red eye in almost every photo. I hate it. This pen works perfectly! :thumbsup2

hey that's good to know. what kind is it? what's it make your eyes look like?

It is made by Fiskars. It is a light blue liquid that you just dab on the eyes. It removes the red and makes the eyes darker, but you can still see the original eye color. On some if the red eye was really big the eyes look a little too dark, but it is certainly better than the big red spots. I got it at Archivers in the $1.99 spot. I had never seen it before. :thumbsup2

I've had mine for years and it has seen use (with an entire family of blue eyes!). I have discovered that less is more. And you need to "dab" rather than "write". If you use too much you end up with a green eye (imagine a cat's eye in a flash photo) or a weird look. It has a very fine tip and I usually use just the very point of the tip for best results. I try to fix red eye in Picasa whenever I can, but I sometimes forget and order the photos without fixing them....................P

I have had mixed results when I fixed them before ordering. I had a great shot of DS and his eyes were shining, but they were red. I did the red eye correction and it turned my baby's beautiful blues into browns. Darn!
