Record of Covid Vaccines and DCL

I am not familiar with the process in which we need to verify our record of vaccines prior to sailing. Can anyone provide me with the link to upload verification? Does an immunization statement showing the vaccines ( from CVS or RiteAid, etc.) satisfy the documentation? Or do I have to upload a copy of the vaccine card? How about at the port prior to embarkation? Hate to have to carry the actual card with us for fear of losing it.

DCL sends you an email with the link to safe passages when it is time for you to make an account. We uploaded our vaccination card. We also took them on the cruise, just in case. Just put them in the safe in our passports.

Ditto....uploaded a pic of our vaccination cards and brought the originals and locked them up. Did not have to show the physical vaccination card but I remember reading that you should bring the originals with you.

Thank you. Will keep locked up as well. I just don’t want to carry them around. So after uploading to the Safe website, you still needed the physical cards?

Isn’t there verification after you upload the cards to the site that they are accepted and your good for the cruise?

We didn't but I know I read where they want you to also bring the originals...I guess in case anything happens to the digital record you upload from the time you uploaded to the time you get to the terminal. I can't remember if I read on the safe passage website or on the DCL website.

yes, but for whatever reason they asked to bring originals too.

They never asked to see our originals but I brought them just in case. I didn't want to risk any chance of getting turned away at the port.

It took around 2 days or so for our vaccine documentation to be approved. You'll get an email.
