Received MyMagic+ Flash drive in the mail.

Visiting from the March board...some of us have noticed that if we booked through a TA, we did not receive the flash drive...

I used a TA and just received a booklet and magnet.

Got mine yesterday for my trip on 1/31 for just 2 nights.
Only have a room booked so far, so not sure if that factored in on why we got one.

It's neat, but basically pointless. Nothing special on the drive...

I don't understand the value of the flash drive. I received 2 of them because of a split stay reservation. All it says on it is to connect your info on MDE and make FP+. Don't they already tell you this when they confirm your reservation? No new info, and a complete waste of $ to send two of them.

I'm doing a split stay at 3 resorts in August. I got two mailings, one with the drive and one without. All our stays are on rented DVC points.

I tried to find a picture of the flash drive to post and found someone posted their drive on ebay... sold it for almost $30

Yes, quite a surprise to receive on 12/26/13 while son and DIL were visiting for Christmas. We have a trip planned for 11/2014. The personalized book is quite cute and fridge magnet is another helpful cutie. I also picked the color of my Magic Band. They, of course, will get same package when they arrive home in Austin. Soooo exciting!

I only got a packet for a room only stay at the end of April. I sent an email to Disney asking if I would get one or how I could get one and try said I would right before my arrival but since I already got a packet I'm guessing they lied

Did anyone ever get both?? A packet first than a drive later on for the same stay??

My sister and I both have trips planned for the same time and the same hotel. We got the flash drive and book, while they only got the book. So there must be something else that goes into play on who gets what.

Just in case anyone is still looking at this thread. Disney just called me cause I asked for one in an email. They said they are stopping them. I don't know if she was lying to me or not but she said they are done sending them out. She said she's ha. A lot of people call and complain so that might be why. Again who knows. But I guess I'll go through life without one lol

Got to recoup the cost of our disney trips somehow.....just think of the deal these things are. My flash drive cost me $2,400 and now you could scoop it up for ONLY $40 bucks, sounds like a great deal for you!

Thank god I got mine on December 31st for my SEPTEMBER 29th trip before they stopped sending them out, otherwise I might have to demand a rate reduction on my trip
