got phone call this am from supervisor @ MS, informing me that there was an internal accounting error on ressie (that i had booked for a guest- September stay) which they 'automatically corrected' via a new ressie/point redistribution.

instead of using a mix of our 08 points for the Sept ressie (within the 7 month window) they borrowed from that home resort's 09 points

Apparently, it popped on their radar when i canceled an existing ressie for my DS/DIL a couple days ago.
Note: i had originally booked WL for DS's Dec trip & rebooked @ AKV @ 7 month window; which resulted in change of the ressie number & the point usage was 2 points less than the original.
At the time, when the CM recapped my account, the total points remaining in my account matched up with my records. Guess i should've been more careful matching up the points in each home resort/UY?
I was told the 'auditors' caught it & fixed the problem; resulting in the phone call to me
naturally, im glad it was fixed, just hope my guest is understanding as to why she has new ressie #

so, anybody else have this happen in the past/lately?
