"Really, We Don't Work Here" A Not So Scary Adventure

Day 2 9/13 Part 3:
Beauty and the Beast

Our next FP+ was at 10:50 for Enchanted Tales with Belle. Soon we were inside Maurice's cottage waiting to be transported to the day Belle and the Beast fell in love.

This mirror is seriously one of the coolest effects.

I volunteered to be a part of the play!

The little girl playing the Beast was adorable.
Once we had entertained Belle, we headed out to get in line for lunch. We were going to Be Our Guest! We hopped in line a little after 11 and the line wasn't too bad just past the bridge. The sun was a little brutal, though. Thankfully they had some water to drink and they had a bunch of umbrella you could use to keep the sun off of you. We made it inside to order in about 20 minutes. We both ordered Croque Monsieur with pomme frites and the strawberry cream cheese cupcake for dessert. OMG is the food good! And the restaurant makes me feel like I'm in the middle of the movie. We ate in the Rose Gallery and of course wandered through taking pictures after lol

Day 2 9/13 Part 4:
Happy Haunts, a Splash and the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness

After lunch we made our way over to Liberty Square for our 12:15 FP+ for the Haunted Mansion.

999 happy haunts later we were making our way into Frontierland for 2 of our favorite rides, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Both had relatively low waits. We started with Splash Mountain and it was pretty much a walk on.

A little front of the log selfie lol
Now it was time to dry off on BTMRR!
We waited about 15 minutes for the wildest ride in the wilderness, which was just fine with us because it gave us some time to play with the new interactive queue elements.

We took a brief detour back over to Fantasyland to ride Peter Pan's Flight before our 1:25 FP+ expired. Once our trip to Neverland was complete we headed towards the exit because we had some other things planned for the evening. Right before we left I spotted this little baby near the train station.

Survey marker!!!!!

Day 2 9/13: Part 4
Hooray for Hollywood!

When we last left off, Allison and I were heading back to Art of Animation so we could change. We had some where special to be... Hollywood Studios.
We were super excited about this night. When we heard that there was going to be a villain party on Friday the 13th, we knew that was the week we wanted to go. I found myself a shirt at Hot Topic with Darth Vader on it that said "Keep Calm and Join the Dark Side". Kind of ominous and villainy if I do say so myself. Allison brought her Jason Voorhes Friday the 13th shirt and we were off to the Studios.
We were running a little later than I wanted, we got there a little after 3:30. I was hoping to get there a little earlier because there was a little IG meet up at 3:13 at Starring Rolls.
Just because I was rushing a little doesn't mean I didn't take a couple of pictures on my way.

Johnny Fedora and Alice Bluebonnet. I always loved that segment of Make Mine Music. Gotta love the Andrews Sisters.
I finally made it over to Starring Rolls in time make the IG meet. For those of you that do some of the disney photo challenges on IG you probably know chaobabylinda, she does #wdwphotoaday challenges every month. It was great to meet Linda and the others in person. Everyone was super nice and we chatted about Disney for a bit before everyone headed on their way. I did manage to get a picture though

The next place Allison and I head was towards one of our favorite parts in all of Disney... the Tower of Terror!

On our way down Sunset Boulevard, we browsed some of the shops and notice that a crazy insane line was already starting to form for the limited merchandise. Um, and it was only 4:00. Yikes! Allison did find an Ursula shirt that she like, so she bought it and then ran into the ladies room to make a quick shirt change. Allison became somewhat obsessed with Ursula during the trip, but that's ok with me! Everyone should have a favorite villain, mine is Hades. He just cracks me up. He was the only villain I actually wanted to win lol
Finally we made our way into the Tower, and luckily there was a vacancy for us!

I like these creepy display windows.
After our little freefalling adventure we headed off on our way to dinner. It was a little after 5 and we had 5:50 reservations at Sci-Fi.

Less than 3 hours till the villains take over!
We had to stop and take a photo shoot with the busts.

Allison and everyone's favorite Golden Girl!

Me and Uncle Walt!

Day 2 9/13 Part 5:
Dinner and Ryan Sheckler Flashbacks

So we finally made our way over to Sci-Fi. I went to check us in while Allison grabbed a seat on the wall outside and settled in for our wait. Sci-Fi was definitely crowded tonight, anyone that didn't have reservations was being turned away at the doors. I got up to the podium to get check in when I saw it... on the CM's lanyard... a survey marker pin! I check us in, got the pager and pin traded for one of the coolest pins!

We settled in for our wait, checking facebook, emails and all that jazz. And enjoying the Commissary Area Loop. Love all the TV theme songs! Soon we were on our way back to a 50s drive in. I love Sci-Fi, the theme here is so fun. I really enjoy the old B-movie clips. My favorite is "The Cat Who Hates People".

I remember watching this on tv when I was little.
We both got cheeseburgers and french fries, pretty basic but they were good. I had a coke and Allison minute maid lemonade punch. She had the peanut butter cake for dessert and I had a homemade candy bar, which was like layers of cake and mouse cover in chocolate. It's not on the menu, but it was really good.
After dinner we headed over toward the hat to check out was going on since Hades had just taken over. And we got stuck. In a very large, no moving crowd.

I know the pictures are kinda crappy, but I think it gives you an idea on how crowded it was. We caught a glimpse of some of the villains but we decided to keep moving. We needed out of that mess. Allison was feeling a little panic that she was going to lose me and does not do well with being lost. And me? I was having flashbacks to my worst day of work ever.
Let me back track and explain that dreaded day. Ryan Sheckler Day. Back when I used to work for JC Penney, we got this line of clothing in boys and young mens by this skateboarder (I think) named Ryan Sheckler. All fine, well and good until he was going to be in the Boston area. This was like 2009, but this day scarred me for life. Since he was going to be in the Boston area, he was going to do a 1 hour appearance at a local JC Penney. It was between 2 stores that were semi close to Boston and we won. Now the company and store manager thought that there would only be like 500 kids and we could handle it ourselves (meaning our management staff and our 5 LP associates, none of us is exactly trained in the kind of crowd control that this would end up requiring). Our LP manager felt that this wouldn't be enough, the call volume for the store and the mall was indicating several thousand in response. He was allowed 1 cop and 7 LP associates from other store. Fast forward to the event. People started lining up outside in the pouring rain at 5am. By 10, when we opened the doors, the line went all the way through the lower level outside around the building, up the hill... you get the point. The detail officer took one look the thousands of girls and called for back up which ended up being 15 unassigned day officers and half of the day command. When this kid finally showed up it was mass chaos. Screaming, pushing, climbing on tables (2 of the mens tables actually broke, plus a bunch of dishes in the home department). Me and 2 supervisors were locked arm in arm to keep the escalator clear. I had to run up the escalator to rescue a LP associate who actually got lifted and carried away by a mass of screaming girls. Just a terrible day.
Now, while this was crowded, the crowd was nowhere near as out of control as it was on Ryan Sheckler day, it still brought me back to how I felt that day. Not fun. The music they were playing was good though, so at least I had a decent soundtrack going.
We finally made our way through the crowd and decided that, for us, this villain thing just wasn't doing it for us so we were going to have some other fun instead.
First up was the Great Movie Ride

Then we headed over toward the Animation Building, it was time to get in touch with our artistic side. We missed the first class so we pin traded and waited around for the next one. I love the animation class, even thought I'm not exactly good. This was the first time for Allison and she ended up hating it. At least she tried it. We ended up drawing Sully.

Next we headed back down Sunset Boulevard.

At this point we decided we were going to head out. We had quite the wait for the bus but we expected that. There was a, ummmm, grouchy lady behind me complaining about how she couldn't park at the Studios and now she had to go back to AoA and get her car and there's not enough buses, blah blah blah (meanwhile they were loading 2 buses at a time). Basically she didn't want to wait in the line. Some people.
We finally made it back to AoA, changed into our bathing suits and spent some time relaxing in the Little Mermaid pool before we headed to bed.

Great updates! Sorry I've fallen so far behind lol, I suck at this!!

We were totes at MK the same night! Looks like it was a good one for ya!

paige had one of those fruit & yogurt parfaits one day last year and I know she really didn't like it, so I'm glad you guys had a better experience lol!

Great looking day at mk/dhs!! smart to go the morning of the party, and holy cow brave on ya for going to dhs that day, like, insanity I heard it was, thank goodness I was over at mnsshp!

I have never made it to Rope Drop for Magic Kingdom so have never seen the opening show - looks like fun!

Love the survey marker pin you traded for! I agree crowds can be scary - hate that panicky feeling you get when you lose contact with your family.

LOL I know what you mean, I'm so behind on everyone's trip reports. The holidays came and that was it. Just starting to get back to normal lol
We were definitely brave to attempt that villains party :crowded:. In hindsight we should have done MNSSHP. Oh well, live and learn :)

Day 3 9/14 Part 1:
"We're Andy's Toys!"

Before we get started, I forgot to post my pin trades from yesterday...

OK, now back to the report.
My alarm once again woke me at 6 and I did the shower and get ready thing and woke Allison at 6:30 and watched some Stacey while she did her thing. We grabbed our mugs and headed to the food court for some noms. Allison went for the make your own yogurt parfait. I got the bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel, always a good basic choice. I also opted for a side of there breakfast potatoes. I was not a fan of these myself. I like potatoes and hash browns, but to me these were a slightly weird consistency and lack flavor. But, live and learn.
Next stop was the gift shop, I had a purchase to make. As we were walking back to the room the previous evening, I commented on how much my feet hurt. Well, I soon discovered why. I had been wearing my foamy Reef flip flops, that kind of mold to your feet. Yeah, I kind of did so much walking I walked right through them. There was no way I was going to wear the other Reef flip flops, so I needed to buy new flip flops. I made my purchase and we stopped to look at the trivia broad. Every day they had a dry erase board that they would post Disney trivia on. As we were looking at it we were talking to a CM who, once again, thought I worked for Disney. Sadly, I do not, so she told me I could always look into seasonal if I didn't want to move to Florida permanently.
Anyways, purchase in hand, we went back to the room, changed into my new flip flops, grabbed our park bags and headed to catch the bus to Hollywood Studios.
We made it there pretty quickly and jumped in line for bag check. We chatted with the security guard while we waited and the subject to survey markers came up so she told me to keep my eye out for one as soon as I got into the park, so that's just what I did!

First stop, as I'm sure you could tell, was to jump in line for Toy Story Midway Mania. We had a FP+ already lined up for later, but once is never enough lol Here's some Toy Story spam...

I won!!!!! Allison had better accuracy though lol
Next we headed across the way and jumped in line to meet Buzz and Woody. I think we waited about 20 minutes, but that line is so cute.

This CM door is awesome!
Buzz and Woody were great fun, they loved my Toy Story shirt lol

Day 3 9/14 Part 2:
Hanging on Sunset Boulevard

After our adventures with Buzz and Woody we headed over to Sunset Boulevard.

We had a FP+ for Tower of Terror starting at 9:25 and I never miss a ride on my favorite elevator. Before we headed over to the Twilight Zone, we grabbed a couple of fast passes for the Rockin' Rollercoaster. Soon we were entering the Twilight Zone. OMG I just love ToT, I could ride it all day.
The we headed across to hang with Aerosmith. This is a never miss attraction partly because Aerosmith is just awesome and partly because of an old story about our friend's mom. You know "Stacy's mom has got it going on"? Yeah, apparently its true lol Back in the day, basically the early 1970s, before our friend Stacey's parents had met and dated and married, Stacey's mom went on a date with Steven Tyler. Seriously! I guess back when Aerosmith had first started, before they got really big, they did a record signing at Ann&Hope and Stacey's mom went and Steven Tyler asked her out. We think that's the coolest story so we always stop to say hi to Steven Tyler hahahaha
I'm pretty sure after our limo ride we jumped on the Tower of Terror again. At this point, I think it was like 10:30ish and we still had a little time to kill before our TSMM FP+, so what do you do when you have time to kill? Eat Disney food of course! Specifically cupcakes from Starring Rolls. I'm not sure what Allison got, but I got this little baby

Red Velvet cupcake= Happiness :)
After our tummies were full of delicious noms, we headed for TSMM. We got off just in time to head back down Sunset to catch the 11:45 showing of Beauty and the Beast. Ahhhh I love this show. Here's some Beauty and the Beast spam lol

It was amazingly entertaining as always. On our way out of the theater I spied a familiar face, it was Katt789! Katt was my very first Dismeet ever, I was behind her and her mom last year for the Tarzan meet and greet. We've kept in touch through disboards and on instagram over the year. We were actually commenting on IG that day, we knew we were both in HS that morning. It was awesome to see her again and her mom and her mom's friend. They were all super sweet. After chatting for a bit we parted ways, there was still plenty of adventures to cover. The day was still early. Where were we off to next?

Day 3 9/14 Part 3:
A Relaxing Afternoon

When we last left off, Allison and I had just parted ways with Katt and were heading off on are next adventure. So where were we going?

If you can't tell from the pic, it's the underside of the giant AT-AT, which means we were headed on Star Tours. We had a 12:40 FP+ scheduled and pretty soon we were boarding our starspeeder. I wish I took better notes, and I vow to next time, as I can't quite remember which scene we had, but I do know that sadly, neither of us was the rebel spy :( I really want to be the rebel spy one day. Star Wars was such a big part of my childhood, as it was for many of us that grew up in the 80s. I was always Princess Leia :)
After our trip to the ice planet Hoth, or Tatooine or the Wookie planet, or where ever our starspeeder took us, we started to head out of the park. Once again, the day was pretty hot and we wanted to get in some pool time to cool off.
Before we left, we stopped off in one of the stores on Hollywood Boulevard. Allison had gotten a message from one of her friends back home, asking if she could bring them back an Alex and Ani bracelet. While Allison was looking at the bracelets and getting that all settled, I pin traded with the other CM working. We chatted about Disney of course and she asked me how I was liking my CP. Ummmm, what? She thought I worked for Disney too!!!! Sadly I had to tell her I did not but that she made my day :)
I love being mistaken for a CM.
Once Allison had her purchase in hand we headed to the bus stop and soon we were back at AoA. Before we headed back to the room to change into our bathing suits, we stopped at Landscape of Flavors and grabbed lunch. We would have eaten while we were still at the Studios, but there's really a lack of good QS options there, which is kind of sad, since they have some really wonderfully themed TS.
We both ended up getting the build your own burgers and fries. They were really good. It was nice that they made them fresh instead of having them already done and waiting. I got a coke and Allison had an ice tea. I'm not sure what Allison had for dessert, but I had a vanilla Mickey Mouse cupcake, with oreos for the ears. Mmmmm that was tasty. The cake was nice and moist and the frosting kind of tasted like the creme filling of the oreo. Yum!
We headed back to the room and changed and headed over to the Big Blue Pool. It really DID play music under water. Such a cool effect.

The pictures are actually from another day, I didn't want to bring my phone or camera down when we were swimming, but this pool was seriously cool.
After our relaxing dip, we showered and changed so we could head to our next park. Where were we headed?
Epcot!

Obligatory shot of me and my sister's Leave a Legacy Tile. I love how you can see my pin trading lanyard lol
Next stop for us was the Art of Disney store. I love these stores. OMG I wish I could afford the stuff in here. I did find a cute little print of Cinderella's castle and it was only $25. I decided to get it. Yay! I officially own something from the Art of Disney! LOL Actually, it turned out that Larry Dotson, who is the artist that created the print, was in the Art of Disney that day and he was nice enough the sign it for me! I paid for it and had them ship it to the resort for me. Anyways here's my cute little print

I'm kind of in love with it. LOL
We headed off. We decided that tonight we were going to focus on exploring World Showcase since we had a ressie there later that night. First though, I needed to make a pit stop. Time to check out the newest addition to Epcot, Starbucks!
I am definitely a fan of having decent coffee in Disney!
I got a caramel macchiato and Allison grabbed a smoothie.

Ahhhhhh! I posted that on IG and it turns out that I just missed Susie, aka tomorrows_child. Awwww! I knew we were in Disney at the same time, but we never got to see each other. Oh well, maybe another time.
Drinks in hand, Allison and I headed to World Showcase. Which way would we start?

Day 3 Part 4: 9/14
Traveling the World

We started our World Tour with our neighbor to the North, Canada! . I'm pretty sure I sang a round of O' Canada. What can I say? I'm a hockey fan lol

We browsed the stores, pin traded, and just enjoyed the sights. Basically, we did this in every country so I won't bore you with those details. I'll just entertain you with photos.

I took time out of our travels to greet my favorite princess, Belle!

As we were making our way from Japan to America, there was a woman a little ahead of us and we saw here stumble and fall. We hurried forward to help her up when we noticed she was having a seizure! A family walking the other way had also stopped to help and luckily the mom was a nurse. As she was taking care of the woman we grabbed the attention of the closest CM, who got right on the phone and called the EMTs. They responded quickly, as the EMTs were coming, the woman started to come around. Once we knew she was in good hands, we headed on our way. It was a scary moment, but I'm glad we were there to help, even though we didn't do much outside of getting her the help she needed.
After that scary moment, we decided the first thing we should do was get a bottle of water. It was super hot and humid and we weren't sure if her seizure was heat related or not, but it seemed to us that we should hydrate ourselves just in case.

Day 3 9/14 Part 5:
World Travels Continued

It seems that after our little scare that I didn't take anymore photos until we got to China.

It was time our dinner ressies!

Via Napoli! This was a first for both of us. We checked in and didn't have to wait long before we were seated. Unfortunately we didn't have a gorgeous Italian waiter, however our waitress was very attentive. I got a coke and Allison had an ice tea. I got the Margherita pizza and Allison got pepperoni. Delicious! For dessert Allison got the famous zeppoles and I got the Ugly but Good and holy moley, was it good! We were both happy with our choices and would absolute come here again!

We headed over to catch the last showing of the American Adventure. I love this show! The ending song always makes me tear up. I think Allison got a few minutes of shut eye. LOL

Once the show got out, we hurried over to France to grab some Grey Goose Citron Lemonade slushes, caught Illuminations and headed out the International gateway. We headed over to the Beach Club and hopped on their Downtown Disney bus and did some shopping. Loaded down with purchases, we headed back to AoA and got ready for bed.
These were the end result of today's pin trades

Just letting you know I am reading along! I love adults only TRs.

I enjoyed looking at your AoA photos! My sister's favorite character is Ariel and we were all set on staying there on our trip coming up but decided against it when we found out The Little Mermaid section was a long trek to the bus stop.

What do the numbers mean under the Hook and Cruella pins?

Yay! Welcome! :welcome:
I loved AoA but it was a long trek back to the room at the end of the night lol I think I'm sticking with Pop, even the farthest rooms there don't seem quite as far. Still plenty close enough to visit AoA though :cool1:
The Hook and Cruella pins are the villain parking sections from the magic kingdom parking lot so its the rows that correspond to the section. Wave A of this year's hidden Mickey pins are the hero parking lot sections. I'm keeping my eye out because I really want the Rapunzel one princess:

Day 4 9/15 Part 1:
The Epic 4 Parks 1 Day
Park #1 Animal Kingdom (part 1)

So here we are on day 4, the half way point of our vacation. In the midst of planning our vacation I challenged Allison to the Epic 4 Parks 1 day and challenge accepted! The only rules we had was to do a couple of attractions/show in every park and pin trade. Other than that, everything was up in the air. We decided that we weren't going to do any ADRs this day, so that we could make sure we had time to do all 4 parks.
We both got up and did the shower thing, and bypassed our normal food court breakfast and headed directly for the bus. Why, you ask? Because even though we didn't have an ADR there was a special breakfast we wanted to get that would be a first for Allison. We jumped on the bus around 7 and headed to the Magic Kingdom and then on my beloved monorail because we were heading back to the Poly! It's Tonga Toast time!
We went down to Captain Cook's and I was reunited with this deliciousness...

Allison's verdict? She LOVED it!!!!!!
After breakfast we headed out to get the bus to our first park of the day, the Animal Kingdom! We got there right about 9, just as the park was opening.

First stop was Africa!

We stopped for a trip on Kilimanjaro Safaris. The line was pretty short, I don't think we waited more than 10 minutes before we were loaded into a truck and headed out to find some animals.

I really like giraffes <3

Rhino bum!!! LOL

Day 4 9/15 Part 2:
The Epic 4 Parks 1 Day
Park #1 Animal Kingdom (part 2)

After our safari we decided a trip to Asia was in order.

More specifically, it was time to conquer Expedition Everest!

After braving the Yeti, we headed over to Dinoland.

We had a relatively short wait, but of course we were educated by Bill Nye the Science Guy so all was good!

After being briefed by the ever classy Dr. March (aka the lovely Claire Huxtable) and the slightly creepy Grant Seeker, we headed back in time in search of dinosaurs. Fortunately no one was eaten by a carnosaur or blown up by a meteor and we all made it back safe and sound :)
Before we headed to our next park we stopped and caught It's Tough to be a Bug. I have such a soft spot for this show. Surprisingly, it was one of my grandmother's favorite attractions and every time I went back to Disney World she would always ask me if I saw the bug show lol
Of course on the way into the theatre we admired the carvings on the Tree of Life. I can't get over all the details.

I don't know why, but I always have to get a picture of my gorilla friend.
After the show, we said good bye to the Animal Kingdom and headed out to catch the bus to our next destination!

Day 4 9/15 Part 3:
The Epic 4 Parks 1 Day
Park #2 Hollywood Studios

When we last left off, Allison and I were just leaving Animal Kingdom and heading to our second park of the day which happened to be Hollywood Studios. It was around 11ish when we headed to the bus loop and waited a bit for the Studios bus to show up. Once it did, it wasn't too long until we were here...

The only things we wanted to accomplish at Hollywood Studios were 2 shows we hadn't gotten to do yet, Voyage of the Little Mermaid and MuppetVision 3D.

I absolutely love this show. I just adore the Little Mermaid and it doesn't hurt that it's a cool and relaxing way to get out of the heat lol

The Muppets!!!!! "It's time to start the music, it's time to light the lights, it's time to get things started on the Muppet Show tonight!"
We're children of the 80s, the Muppets were a big part of our childhoods. I remember when Jim Henson died, such a sad day. The man was a genius. Anyways... I just love the Muppets. I think I appreciate them more now because some of the jokes are kind of tongue on cheek and geared more towards adults.

After the Muppets we headed towards the exit and back to Art of Animation. It was 1ish so we stopped at Landscape of Flavors for lunch. We both got the build your own burgers for lunch. I ended up getting the vanilla animation cupcake for my dessert. It was pretty tasty but I like the mickey one with the oreo ears better. Not sure what Allison got for dessert.
At this point we were going to hit the pool again, but Allison was feeling kind of tired, so she took a little nap while I watched some tv.

Day 4 9/15 Part 4:
The Epic 4 Parks 1 Day
Park #3 EPCOT

Allison woke up refreshed and we got ourselves ready and out the door somewhere between 3:30 and 4. We needed to hurry over to our next park, EPCOT. When I was planning our trip, I scheduled our FP+ selection for EPCOT. I knew that we were roping dropping Animal Kingdom and only planning on doing shows at the Studios, and Magic Kingdom had EMHs that night, so it seemed the best use of FP+. And we were starting off with a FP+ for Soarin' from 4-5.

Ahhhh the Land! This is another one of those places that Disney really needs to bottle the scent and sell it. I would pay good money for a Land Pavilion scent candle. We headed over to Soarin' and after a safety briefing with Patrick, we found ourselves flying over the state of California. This is seriously my favorite attraction in EPCOT. I love the feeling and smelling the pine trees and the orange groves. I feel like I could really dip my toes in the ocean and that if I don't pull my feet up, they're going to hit the top of the mountain. I also keep trying to kick the kayakers in the head (this will figure into the trip report again later in the week lol)

After Soarin' it looks like we made our way over to Imagination to visit with out favorite purple dragon, Figment!

Can I just tell you how much I miss Honey I Shrunk the Audience? Get rid of Captain EO, bring back Wayne Szalinski!
I think at this point we headed back into the Land to get some dinner. Seriously, Sunshine Seasons food court is one of the best uses of a Quick Service credit. We both got the pork chop (seriously it was like the size of my head!) and the cheddar cheese mashed potatoes. OMG so good! And of course we hit the bakery for dessert. I got the creme brulee and I'm pretty sure that's what Allison got too. We definitely enjoyed dinner and Sunshine Seasons is a definite must for me.
The we headed over to the Seas with Nemo and friends.

Then it was time to head over to Spaceship Earth before our FP+ ran out at 6:45.

Next we headed off for our 7:15 FP+ at Test Track.

Now, I was here in February of 2013, so I had already ridden the retooled version of Test Track. This was Allison's first time. I held off on my opinion of it until she rode it, but frankly, I'm not a fan of it. It's very Tron- like and I didn't like Tron so... yeah. We got into the create your car room and we messed around with the design but yeah, Allison wasn't impressed by it either. Neither of us really get the whole design concept.
So after that disappointment, we headed out to our last park.

Day 4 9/15 Part 5:
Epic 4 Parks 1 Day
Park #4 Magic Kingdom

We headed off on my favorite mode of transportation to my favorite park to finish out our day.

We made to the Magic Kingdom with plenty of time to spare before Celebrate the Magic started. We found a place along the hub to watch. This is hands down my favorite nighttime show, I definitely wanted to make sure Allison didn't miss it.

Pictures don't do this show justice. I did take a couple of videos and posted them on Instagram. I'm bruinz442 on IG if you want to see. Feel free to follow me if you'd like :)
It looks like the next place we headed was Adventureland.

I was so sad that the Jungle Cruise was closed for refrub when we were there. It's super corny, but I just adore it.

Ahhhhh Pirates! Dead Men Tell No Tales! Ok, confession time... Of course, you all know how well themed Pirates is, well, the first time my sister and I ever went on it, it was a night. Well that night theming is so well done that we had a hard time telling whether we were inside or outside lol
So, this was our first time on it with the creepy mermaid skeleton and stuff. Yeah, not a fan of that. But that only lasts for like 2 seconds, so meh. Whatever, it doesn't ruin the entire ride so all is good.
Then we headed over to Frontierland and over to the Country Bear Jamboree. The Country Bear Jamboree was one of the first things I ever knew about back in the days before I had ever been to Disney World. My grandmother had taken my uncles back in like 1981, when they were like 15 and 16. The Country Bear Jamboree was my uncle's favorite attraction and he brought home a Big Al piggy bank which he still has to this day. As a result, I always make sure to stop by. When we got over there I made an epic pin trade. There was a few minutes before the next show and a CM was standing outside with a pan of pins. Of course, this little pin trader had to look and what did I spy? The 5 Legged Goat! From the Contemporary! Um yes, that had to be mine!

Big Al!
When we got out, we caught the second Main Street Electrical Parade.

We headed over and visited 999 happy haunts and headed towards the exit and back to Art of Animation for some much needed rest.
These were my pin trades from the day...

Day 5 9/16 Part 1:
A Wild Morning

Here we were on day 5 and I did something I almost never do, even at home. I over slept. Oops. Fortunately Allison woke up at her normal time and got ready and then she woke me. I hurried to get ready and we grabbed our mugs and headed to grab breakfast. I got my bacon, egg and cheese bagel again and Allison went for her yogurt parfait. Once our hunger had been satisfied, we went back, dropped off our mugs and grabbed our bags and headed off to the Animal Kingdom.
We were running a little later than I planned but not too bad. Animal Kingdom had EMHs this morning so they opened at 8. We got there a little after 8 and headed straight over to Africa and soon we were on another safari.

Here we go with a ton of giraffe pictures. I adore the giraffes and when we were here in September there was a new baby giraffe on the savannah so we were told that the trucks wouldn't be able to stop like usual because the baby was afraid of the trucks. We got lucky though because the truck had to stop because the baby was crossing the road! He was so cute. I got a video of him and posted it to IG if you want to check it out.

I just love them :)
