Real Housewives of NJ--Official Thread

I don't know. I just don't think this show is as fun to watch as the other shows. Sorry.

No need to be sorry:)

I am curious where they go to when they leave Jersey..or do you think they will do another season?
There has already been talk in our papers here....and all these Chicago socialites appear to be jumping at the chance to be on TV!

LisaNJ25 lol..would need a GPS for my toddler in that house!

I've heard something about them doing Beverly Hills and Washington DC

I think I read they were already filming one in Austin Texas? and also that they were casting for one in Washington DC.

I'd read they had an ad in the Beverly Hills paper looking for "housewives". I kind of like how they're going all over the country but it's hard to "connect" when they're jumping all over the place. I liked OC and NY the best and hope they stick with those girls! :goodvibes I think this is the most "relatable" group for me in the sense that I can see them doing "normal" things even though they pay six times what a normal person would pay! :rotfl:

Didnt realize there were housewives in Beverly Hills??? Maybe wives.....lol

Can I just say that I can't help but watch this train-wreck!!!

I have this bittersweet relationship with this show.

It really perpetuates the whole "JEERSSEY" stereotype for the rest of the world to see. "Juicy" "Bubbies" Seriously, who talks like that? :confused3

I've lived in NJ my whole life. I love NJ. My kids go horseback riding 5 minutes away from my house, we enjoy taking the kids to nice beaches like LBI in the summer, we go sking in in the winter, and yet there is always a mall or grocery store nearby.

When people travel to NJ, they usually just see the Turnpike. Now this show gives another unflattering view of our state. Yet I can't help but watch it.

I just wanted to mention that even though I can't stand Danielle, her arrest was almost 25 years ago. I'm sure that Dina and Caroline don't want to be judged for their families' past actions. Their deceased father-in-law was killed in a mob hit. My point is that even though I don't buy Danielle's innocent bystander act, it was almost 25 years ago. Her mistake was disclosing it, she should have known that it would have come up.

Caught some of these episodes over the weekend.. Poor Jacqueline - she's way too nice to be caught up with those 3 other chicks..

I still like Housewives of Orange County best.. I think Tuesday night there's supposed to be some sort of special on - footage that was cut out of the shows or something.. Hopefully I'll remember to watch it - LOL..

I saw an interview with Kara and she said the Jeanna hadn't signed a contract yet, but that she had heard the other OCHW were already filming as they film in the summer. So she along with the rest of us are going to have to wait and see if Jeanna returns.

My sister and I always say they need to do "The Real HouseWives of DELAWARE". I'll show them what real house wives are like!:rotfl:

I didn't think Jeanna was that great this past season-always seemed "down"
:confused3

The new girl-Lynn-was a real ditzo!!!(Spoiled rotten teen girls):sad2:

Atlanta were the "trashiest"-I doubt most of them actually owned the homes they were filmed in

The Jersey gilrs are not classy-but are way above those Atlanta "ladies";)

I think they have a new housewife for the Atlanta season as well. Shawnee was too nice and "boring" to them so there will be a new exciting character.

My favorites are NYC and OC. NJ is getting nasty and I don't see as much interaction btw. all the housewives, it is mostly in small groups. Atlanta wasn't as interesting to me, because all of them were peddling their stuff (kind of like NYC season 2). I am more interested in seeing their lives, because it is so opposite of mine rather than them advertising their products.

They talked about Danielle's past this morning on GMA (at least from the previews that's what I got that they were going to talk about). I wasn't able to watch as I had to get to work this morning. Here's the link to the GMA site: http://abcnews.go.com/gma. It was the second "story" on the right.

Wait, are they bringing back the Atlanta girls?

I agree with you on all these!! :thumbsup2 I liked Jeana in the past seasons. Her friendship with Vicki is just hilarious!

Lynne = fruit loop. I can't believe that she wasn't embarrassed by her teenage daughters behavior. Letting her underage daughter drink and getting caught on tv?! Ummm hello?? Horrible. I felt that she was almost proud of it. So lets buy her a car when she doesn't have a license or an education!

The Atlanta ladies were all in it for the $$$$$$$$. Did any of them actually have a real job?

Wait, are they bringing back the Atlanta girls?
First time I'm hearing about it too!

Yes, they are bringing back Atlanta. They have a new girl. She and Kim just threw themselves a bday party here. Some of them do not own their own homes, one was just kicked out of one she is renting and I am not sure but they have posted Kim's big papa and he is a realestate guy here in Atlanta. His son is very good friends with Brody Jenner (HILLS).

I can't stand that show and hate that it is here in atlanta because they do not represent us at all!

I thought Big Papa was out of the picture?

I didn't have a problem with the Atlanta housewives. I just thought they were boring. Other than Nene and Sheree fighting all the time, there was really no drama. Oh and Kim is a nutcase.:lmao:
I'm really interested to see the OC Housewives lost footage special. I hope there is actually more than 5 minutes of unseen footage. And not just 40+ minutes of set up or commercials.
