Real Housewives of NJ--Official Thread

I think they might be the dumbest group of housewives.

Yes, they give NJ a bad rap. I live a few towns over from them, and trust me, you would not want a camera following me around all day -- it would be boring! (Driving kids around, going grocery shopping, cutting coupons, going to the library and all this in jeans and a t-shirt, not a sparkle or high heel in sight!!)

But still I watch....popcorn::

karenos;)

I heard about this on the radio this morning.http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/b128844_special_delivery_real_housewives.html

Jacqueline Laurita's real household just got bigger.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star and her husband, Chris, welcomed their second son together Thursday, Nicholas Francis Laurita, a Bravo rep confirmed to E! News.

The duo are also parents to 6-year-old CJ, and Laurita has a 17-year-old daughter, Ashley, from her first marriage.

It was a hard-fought battle to add to their brood. We learned during her show's premiere episode that Laurita has had five miscarriages over the past seven years.

But though she signed up to be followed by Bravo's housewife-appreciating eye, the 38-year-old beauty wasn't sure whether she wanted the cameras with her in the delivery room.

"I don't know if I want people to see me like that," she told E! Online's Marc Malkin last month.

But Nicholas won't be the newest arrival in the Real Housewives neighborhood for long—the recently enhanced Teresa Giudice is expecting her fourth child in September.

Aww, what nice news -- TFS! :goodvibes

I'm not all impressed with this show at all. It's like it's Danielle against everyone else. I think it was a bad idea to put on a bunch of people who are related. It's like they could have taken out the "housewives" part and just put "this family." Boring.
I'm interested about seeing this next show. I'm already feeling sorry for Danielle's kids having to watch everyone beat up on thier mother.

I can't believe the way Teresa talks about her lovelife with her husband in such GRAPHIC detail in front of family...were there any kids present? I know there were teenagers, but I wasn't sure there were little ones there or not. She talks about "it" as if they're the only ones doing "it".

I think she was drunk.

And hubby's office didn't look that plush, did it, to support that crazy life-style...

agnes!

I think Danielle had her kids there-the preview showed it

Theresa's DH looks like a working guy-I really think that is a "Spec House " that he didn't sell yet. DH knows MANY builders who do that-live in their latest "Creation" until they sell it.

That has to be a 5-10 Million $$ home & his office is crummy looking:sad2:

next weeks episode looks sooo good. i was born in new jersey, my mom and other relatives live there. i asked her is everyone there calls their ****s bubbies she said no. i think that sounds really dumb.

Jersey here and I know 1 woman who says it!

Bethany of RHNY is hosting the Today show's 11:00a hour...4th hour.

Oh, and they said that Danielle will be on the Today show tomorrow!

I have to addresss the Bubbies thing. I grew up in an Italian family and we call them Bubbies, Chuckys and PeePees. :rotfl2: I thought it was hysterical that these girls all use the same names. When I told my Mom about she too thought it was funny and couldn't believe it. Our entire family called them that. We're not from New Jersey but we are from NY.

I can't wait to see the finale!:happytv:

Finally watch last weeks episode with Teresa's new bubbies. She looks good, more power to her.

The finale is going to be insane. I really, truly hope that they do not do all that fighting in front of all the children.

Btw, anyone know why this season was so short compared to the others?

First - that's awesome news for them!! :goodvibes

Second - Cameras in the delivery room - are they already filming for another season??? This week's the finale so to still have cameras would mean another season right??

Do we know when the reunion show will be on (if there is one)? Something's showing up on my program guide on Thursday as "Housewives" but no description. It seems that the "follow up" shows (reunions, lost footage, ect) have been on Thursdays...not 100% about this week.

I have to say I like these girls. It was a short season and I think I'd watch them for another season. :goodvibes

Reunion show next Tuesday, I think (6/23?) - that NYC Prep premiere is being advertised as following the RHNJ reunion... which should be interesting.

Born and raised in NJ and I hear them called Bubbies all the time. Mainly from my older relatives. Just last week my aunt told my daughter to fix her bathing suit because her bubbbies were out.
Forgot to add, I'm Born and raised NJ but my family is South Philly Italian. I think it is a Italian thing.

Can't wait for the finale tonight!!! :happytv:

I sure hope they all come back next year and I hope there is a reunion show next week! :thumbsup2

Never heard them called that.....(thank goodness!!!)

Northern New Jersey here & I have to admit it makes me proud that people say "you don't sound like New Jersey":rotfl:(except for coffee & mall).
IMHO, they sound very Welcome Back Kotter!:rotfl2:

'

People can pick me out anywhere.I was on my honeymoon in St Lucia and a waitress said. Your from NJ.LOL

I will not spoil it for anyone but that was the stupidest finale I have ever seen. I also still cannot take Danielle. She hasn't evolved past Junior High.
