"I hope that we never lose sight of one thing...
...it was all started by a boutique park."

My comment was addressing housekeeping and maintenance issues and yes I am aware of some concerns with other Disney resorts but I still think they do a better job of keeping their resorts up to par and cleaner than DVC does lately. BWV is the best example, the Inn side of the resort would have never been alllowed to get to the state of disrepair the Villas side was in before they began to renovate.
As Dean addressed; some issues could be such that a person truly is unhappy with DVC and would want to sell.
However i would hate to see someone give in and sell over housekeeping and upkeep. I feel if enough members complain about that particular situation it will be addressed.
It's a joke, people - relax
How tall is that stump of a castle, anyway? 40 feet?
But seriously - there's no EPCOT in California.
We have been to WDW numerous times and are going to DL for the first time in August. People keep telling us we won't like it because it's so much smaller then WDW. Well shut up already! We are going out to DL with only 1 expectation. That is to enjoy ourselves.
We are not going to compare apples to oranges, or WDW to DL. Now back to the subject. We have only ever had minor complaints with our various rooms we have stayed in. They all were corrected in a timely manner. I approached the proper people quietly and friendly. If the problems had not been corrected i would have stepped up my tone of voice and lost my friendliness and climbed the ladder of authority. I usually can guage how a person needs to be treated to get done what is right. If you have a snotty attitude you are getting a snottier (is that a word) attitude back. I may even belittle you.
I do not have unreasonable expectations. Just want what i paid for. No more no less.
I hope to get out to your cute boutique park in the next couple of years, but it ain't WDW
(plus flights are much more expensive from the east coast)
