Actually, it IS. Or was. Or will be. I have no idea of the date. But our northern friends celebrate Thanksgiving in October. Why, I don't know. YAK, NAB, Melly? Can you tell us why your government wants to have Thanksgiving before those of us in the States??

NAB, I TEACH at a little school! I usually teach private kindergarten but this year I'm teaching Pre-K and it is REALLY hard for me! Next year I'll be doing Kindergarten again, thank goodness.

Moo googled one night. Thanksgiving started in Canada. We have it the second Monday in Oct. It is also Oktoberfeast as well so we have a Thanksgiving parade with bands playing the bird dance song and beer barrel floats.
