Yep, just a note for you so you can look on the TA site as well...September's hours came out on Feb. 12 on this site but October hours not until March 21st, so somewhere between May 12th and May 21st or so, your December hours will be out (if it's similar to the last two months!!)

It really didn't change anything, just solidified my plans! Made me less worried about seeing Wishes on Saturday night b/c we can see them on Tuesday night now when we do our MK day, and everything else was pretty much what I thought it would be!

Hey Michelle! We have a lot of fun with the disney days, it's fun to come up with a theme and activity and the girls really seem to like it, I think I could do them all the time, even without a trip planned!

Not a ton to update right now. Those of you that read Hope's PTR know that they decided not to take the trip this fall, we're sad, but totally understand. It's like we flip-flopped from last year when we had to cancel our trip when Hope went! We'll get there together eventually, I think maybe on my 40th Birthday (hey, that's just 2 years!!!) I'll be going and bringing a friend for a girls weekend! Whatcha think Hope?!?!?!?

I'm headed into a busy week of petsitting and should have a bit saved by the end of the week for our tickets, if I don't have to spend half of it on a new lawn mower! Eek!

Dallas & I are really enjoying our running and he's running longer periods now, I'm guessing he'll catch up to me in no time! I wanted to share a DISign that Rebecca (Sleepingbooty) made for us for the race! She's probably going to add our names/Team Orozco on it too, but I couldn't wait to share b/c I love it so much!

Not sure if I'll get tech shirts ($$$) to put them on or just regular tshirts just yet. I love tech shirts, but they are expensive and I'm not sure how long the transfers will hold up on them and don't want to spend too much money on a shirt that is going to crack and whatever after a few washes? Still not sure, but I really love the DISign! Maybe I should have her put something like "We did it!" and put the design on regular tshirts to wear afterwards???

Oh and ADRS are in 12 days!!!!!!! (and 13, and 14, and 15...the joys of staying offsite!)

My name is Jen. I just found your PTR today and read through it all! Love seeing all the planning going on and especially love the Disney Days! We are also going during the same time you are. I am also running in the 5K (my first one at Disney) and I too homeschool my kids! I actually just found out about the 5k last week and am in the process of changing my DOA from Oct 1 to Sept 29-30. Are you all participating in the homeschooling days? We are! Gotta get those discounted tickets!!

I'm trying to get it in gear to start my own, very first, PTR! Untill then, we'll be following yours!

Hi Jen! Welcome! We sound like twinkies, is there ANYTHING we don't have in common??? Yes, we are getting the homeschool tickets! I can't wait to get them, I feel like once I get the tickets, with the house already paid, we will TRUELY be going! Yes, the days that MK closes at 7pm will be the party. That's not to say they won't change party dates closer, they have done that, but I am pretty sure that when they release party dates (last year was on May 1st) that those will be the dates! As a note, they are more prone to change the Sept. dates for the party than the Oct. dates, so you can be fairly certain!!

Yep, I have a SUPER busy week petsitting (spring break here) and just about when I finish up, it will be time for ADRs! I'm getting really excited!!!

I love the design! The advantage to just putting them on regular t-shirts is that you will probably wear them more. I don't ever wear my tech shirts for anything except running. I love the idea of an I did it shirt too! Can't wait for ADR day!

We have a little update for "the WHO" of our trip! Savannah was sad when she found out Kya wasn't coming and so Mom had to figure out a solution for her to still have a friend with her. She's SO attached to her friends lately, I remember that age...actually, I'm pretty attached to my friends as an adult too! So, I invited Leslee, one of Savannah's BFF's to come with us. We just got the A-OK this morning that she could go, but I had it in the works already and requested a DISign for the girls that I thought they would like. When Savannah saw it she squealed!

My busy weekend has started and I'm excited that by the end of the weekend I will have a huge chunk of money saved for our tickets!

I think I said that in the other update, but that's ok, you really won't get how excited I truely am about making this happen until I've repeated myself again and again!

Shew! It's been a long weekend! It decided to snow/sleet/slush/ice/rain yesterday and it was a MESS! Then I had two clients cancel as I was on my way to their houses (luckily they just postponed and I started one today and one will start up tomorrow) but I was sloshing around in the cold, hacking, and I have a thigh injury from running on top of it...I just kept reminding myself that most of the money was going to Disney! AND...I did it! I put $600 in the savings for Disney! Just a little bit more and I'll be able to get our tickets!!!

Rebecca personalized our tshirt design even more, I'll have to upload the final design, I'm going to print them on regular shirts to wear after the race on race day!

Here's the final design for our shirts (obviously his says "DALLAS" and not Karen!) I LOVE them and so excited about wearing them all day on Saturday after the race!

I am, however, slightly concerned b/c I'm having pain on the side of my thigh. I've been having it since before I got sick and it got better while I was down sick for 2 weeks, but when I started back up running, it started hurting again, even worse. So, since I'm busy anyway, I'm taking the week off and I got a compression sleeve to wear on it.
